I really wanted to love the El Jebel but a few things held me back. Of a 5-star hotel, much is expected, and for the most part, EJ delivered. The location is perfect, absolutely perfect. On the main pedestrian shopping street, Corso Umberto, and in Taormina, it doesn’t get any better than that. The downside, it was really hard to...

Stayed here last summer for cousins wedding and the hotel has its own unique ring to it. The only thing that would make it better would be if there was a pool. Otherwise lovely had an amazing time. It was awfully hot so a pool would have been nice. Breakfast was delicious with so much variety of food The staff...

El Jebel is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. We are experienced travellers and this hotel stands out of the pack. It is a boutique hotel with outstanding decor, excellent service, and perfect cleanliness. The staff made us feel as though we were part of the family. If we were to return to Taormina, it would be...

My husband & I stayed at El Jebel for two nights and were completely blown away by the fantastic, non-stop attention and customer service. The hotel is located in the absolute PERFECT part of Taormina... Right in the center of everything and within walking distance to all... Yet high enough up, off of the street, to be away from the...

My husband and I enjoyed a 4 day break at this hotel recently. It is very small and tucked away but absolutely charming and perfectly located in the centre of Taormina. I think there are only 9 rooms, some of which are suites. We stayed in a suite which was larger than average with a fabulous bathroom - I think...

We stayed in el Jebel at the end of our Sicily trip. We wanted something special, and were not disappointed. Location is in the heart of Taormina, next to the duomo. Interior is truly 5-star; a small number of rooms, which are all different (they showed us a couple so we could choose). Our baby of 6 months instantly loved...

The service is great. All the staff are happy and friendly and no request is too difficult. The rooms are clean and bright, the only complaint is the water can go cold when having a shower. Also our room had too much furinture. The location is good for shopping and eating in the winter, as closer to the beach most...

EL JEBEL is the best hotel We've ever stayed at. The location of this hotel is great. It is not on the beach but then we just enjoyed our way to the sea because the way passes though amazing streets of Taormina. There are a lot of good reustorants around.
