This is a medium-sized clean and tidy hotel. The location is excellent, just at the end of the main street with all the shops and restaurants. Taormina is a very touristy kind of place, so perhaps not "real" Sicily but perhaps pleasanter than some of the other cities on this side of the island. From this side of the medieval...

Clean and comfortable rooms with lovely staff. A longish walk from bus terminal, but pleasant enough to do if only light luggage. Taxi to train station is 15 euro. Massive terrace with sweeping views but also near a busy pizzeria and town square for watching street life Sicilian style.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Continental. It was a convenient location to get to all the wonderful shops and restaurants on Corso Umberto. The staff was very friendly and helpful with questions, and even offered me an espresso when I had an early tour and couldn't make it in time for breakfast. The breakfast was also nice...

We were informed when we arrived that we had been given a room upgrade. The room was a good size and had a lovely little balcony which we used quite a lot to enjoy the weather and drink a glass of red wine! The shower had mood lighting and was a lovely feature. The only drawback was that it sometimes...

This hotel was centrally located, spotlessly clean & very comfortable. We always received a warm greeting each time we passed by reception. The staff were genuinely interested that we enjoy ourselves.

Very nice hotel, just as described in most of the reviews. Great breakfast, near heart of town. View from our room was nice (attached). Booked through Road Scholar tour so room cost included in tour cost.

This was a mixed experience... Plus points - really good breakfast selection: loads of fresh fruit, pastries, cakes, cheese. Best we had in five different hotels on our stay. good service from wait staff - good location. As long as you can do steps and cobbles, the hotel is in a great location just above Taormina's main shopping street -...

Taormina is a charming town benefiting from a uniquely beautiful panorama that ranges from the sea to the Mount Etna. There are many hotels around and the Continental certainly proved to be an excellent choice. Perfectly located a few steps from the main street with its many restaurants, shops and boutiques, it faces the sea and boasts a wide terrace...

The rooms are modern and airy and open up to a very large balcony overlooking the gardens. The bathroom is modern with a rain shower. Very pleasantly surprised that we also had free parking, in front of the hotel. Upon check-in, we asked for dinner suggestions, and the recommendation did not dissapoint. The check-in staff was very welcoming, offering bottled...
