A Mediterranean dream: 65 hectares of paradise overlooking a postcard sea. To separate you from the beach just a few hundred meters of lush Mediterranean vegetation, whose scent mixes with that of the waves of the sea. Relaxation, beaches and nature reserves. But also culture, history, art. The strategic location of the VOI Arenella Resort opens to the enthusiastic traveller a wide range of opportunities. From here you can easily reach some of the major points of interest in the region, places that the whole world envies us. Come Noto, capital of the Sicilian Baroque, or the charming Taormina. Only 10 km from the village, then, there is Syracuse: the ancient capital of Sicily, with a rich thousand-year-old past and a charming old town, which is actually an island. Wonders that never cease to surprise us.

Beautiful village with great potential. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staff (almost all), competent and non-invasive entertainment with baby dance and shows every night. Discreet restaurant, there are themed menus during the week. Unfortunately, Sicilian specialties are offered only one day a week, alternatively you can find them at a PAYMENT in the bar Voi Gusto. Repetitive menu for children, to improve even the desserts (at lunch there is only ice cream every other day). Come to the MAs...
1. capacity sunbeds / umbrellas between the beach and the pool not enough to satisfy all customers. Precisely for this reason when you go up for lunch you have to take everything away leaving the stations free. The private beach is small and shared with a private bar, which especially on Sundays “rents” the reserved stations of the village quickly exhausting everything.
2. Speech capacity also valid for the restaurant, so also accomplices the times imposed by the structure you risk finding crowds and remain without a table.
3. the beach bar is excluded from all inclusive service, offers free only glasses of water but on request (unlike the pool where the distributors are free to use). Not being "sponsored" many people buy the bottles.
4. At 19 the beach-village train service closes, as well as the equipped beach and swimming pools. If you want to have an aperitif at the pool bar at 18:50 (shortly before closing) know that the staff will urge you to vacate the station quickly as they will have to prepare the tables for the pizzeria.
5. In the room instead of shampoo and shower gel there are tablets to dissolve that are uncomfortable and not sufficiently adequate for the service.
The first week of July livable, the second a little less... I dare not imagine late July and August.

Village overall pleasant, quite nice, superior room with very simple furnishings .. I expected better. Room cleaning in the norm, daily review with water and coffee supply.
For those staying in superior there is a reserved table at the Aretusa restaurant, where, however, despite those staying in this type of room has incurred a higher expense, the buffet offer is rather reduced compared to the traditional lunch / dinner room... overall, however, we ate very well and the waiters and the room manager were very helpful.
The animation is composed of guys who with few resources do everything to spend carefree holidays, and special mention goes to the evening shows, which entertained us with fun performances every night.
The sports part, tennis and padel, is entrusted to 2 teachers who in the morning carry out private and / or group lessons, but in my opinion there is no organization in socializing and meeting the lovers of these sports... it would be enough to create a group chat for interested people and advertise it in the evening of presentation of the programs and events of the village.
Another ALL INCLUSIVE sore button that is all but one all inclusive!!!! The beach bar is not included, while the one inside the village, on the way back from the beach closes right at aperitif time, and moreover includes few drinks ... definitely not worth the price you pay.
The beach is about 600 meters, reachable by train, but it is often full and you have to walk or wait for the next shift. It would be enough to have 2 trains that alternate arrival / departure.
Crowded beach with sunbeds attached, fortunately with the superior room you are entitled to the sunbed booked in the first rows, otherwise it would be a ride every morning.
I think the village has a very high potential, given the location and the beautiful sea, but it should be reviewed and reorganized ... all in all however, leaving aside the negative aspects that I listed as a suggestion for improvement, I spent a pleasant holiday!

We returned today and spent two weeks of great holidays. Large room with living room where there were two beds, we were three our daughter is 6 years old. This mini bar (with two bottles of water) safe, air conditioning, we had two balconies with drying rack, the large bathroom with spacious shower, and hairdryer. Cleanliness and linen more than satisfactory. We alternated the days between the pools, the beach by the sea and the platforms between the cliffs where we had great swims visiting the cave of Nicodemus. The water in the gulf of the second platform is warmer you will find a few short stretches with slightly cooler water on the surface perhaps due to the presence of underground springs. To get to the sea there is a train, at some times it is nicely loaded but my two women used it because I used to walk before. The pool bar great some things, like ice cream, are for a fee but I think it's fair. We never found difficulties with sunbeds both in the pool and at the sea but this is also related to schedules, on the platforms we always found availability. Extraordinary animation boys many young and very ambiguous, in the evening they do real theater shows. We move on to the restaurant, on days with dedicated cuisine e.g. Sicilian... excellent variety and choice, on other days the choice is present with a standard that is the type in large residences, we always ate well, the pizzeria is close to the pool bar, for dinner you have to book in the morning but hurry because the places end quickly, the pizzeria instead at lunch is on payment. Gite, we only went to Ortigia we took Ciccio Kevin's rickshaw, we did not go to other places because it is the third time we go to Sicily and the offers they gave we had already visited. If you want to eat cannoli near the restaurant there is the bar and are very good even better those that are offered at the restaurant during the day "Sicilian cuisine". If you go to the platforms I recommend always keep the Ciavatta or the beach shoes, the wood on the floor can make surprises I skewered myself with a very small splinter promptly removed by the good lifeguard. Rest assured the sea is very beautiful and the sun has never been missing.

Good morning.
The resorte is surrounded by nature and very spacious and the rooms are also spacious to us they gave us a comfort room on the ground floor without stairs which for my wife who had a knee problem was very comfortable.
The shuttle to go to the sea very good at perfect times very nice driver.
The bar service at the pool the girl Valeria is very nice and always helps in necessities.
Cleanliness of the room was fine. In the room only bad thing were the midges that if I didn't have the anti-mid spray it was terrible.
The most negative note goes to the food, the dishes also present them well but cold food and not cooked well the pasta was always hard and sometimes cold and even meat or fish dishes always served a little cold is fine that it is in summer but it was not pleasant to eat in those conditions. Desserts like desert much sacarsi practically never wax anything as good as desert.
Collation the salvation was cereals and croissants, the cream that was there is very hard was not good.
The food in my opinion is not good and even the hygiene conditions are not normal.
I also saw a waiter pass by with a cart of chips among the people to take in the buffet outside to serve without them being covered. Waiters always ran a lot and cleaned poorly or found dishes and crockery in bad condition.
The resort is nice but in the central restaurante they should consider improvements in serving meals.
I did not like that in the water dispensers you could not fill our water bottles you could only use paper cups.
Another thing that I found negative but I do not know if here even the travel agency should warn just arrived 120 euros more per club card and more the covered than in other trips that or fate never paid more apart from the covered what you now know.
Positive even on the last day they leave the bracelet to be able to drink and eat and also to take a shower have local aposta to be able to clean games.
Despite all the holiday gone well we liked the environment and friendly staff and always available to help.

I stayed at this property from 30 June to 7 July in a Superior Junior Suite. The room is very nice, every day was cleaned thoroughly towels replaced properly: nothing to object.
The treatment provided for guests staying in this category of rooms is All Incusive with a reserved table at the restaurant dedicated to the Superior category: in fact there are no acoustic treatments in the restaurant. The foods are the same as the buffet with the difference that they are much more limited. The only advantage is being served only at dinner for the first and second courses.
Beach: the beach of the resort is a few hundred meters away and is served by a train that makes transfers there and back... but not on lunch break because ... takes the break! learned the hard way because no one had told us.
Very "compressed" beach; our rightful place in the first row regularly assigned and managed
Excursions : we made an excursion to Syracuse and Ortiggia with the transfer at a cost of 5 euros per person and a boat excursion to Verdicari that included 4 stops and the accompaniment of a marine biologist who should have supported the trip to the marine park .
In fact, the exit was nothing short of EMBARRASSING and resulted in an exit by boat with a gentleman who for 4 hours did not say a word ; arrived at the bay of Vendicari we reversed course and returned without the planned stop at Cala Mosche, Fontane Bianche but with a hasty anchorage for 10 minutes of swimming off the beach of the Marchesa and in a location below the coast for 5 minutes for another swim: cost 70 euros per person !
I reported the incident to the Concierge
Food unfortunately not according to expectations so much so that on 7 lunches we used the service twice preferring a beach bar of the hotel ... for a fee ( why ? )
Out of 7 dinners... except the first evening where due to the flight delay we ate some cold appetizers we dined 3 more times most of the time returning the dishes almost full because cold or tasteless. The first night we requested the wine list and unfortunately ( .... ) the first 2 choices were not available
The next evening we opted for a wine on paper as DOCG actually PGI
Aperitifs or cocktails served unaccompanied by appetizers ; to my request for clarification I was told that they were not planned and that if I wanted chips I had to buy them ... ( EUR 1.70 ... done ! )
The decent aperitifs we consumed with a lot of snacks at the bar Gusto... obviously for a fee!
On balance I think that the comparison services / costs has not proved to be up to the expense incurred: unfortunately I regret to note that with the same amount abroad you use another service.
Consider booking at this property

Beautiful, huge structure and wonderful location such as Sicily
It's a shame, however, that we need to review some, perhaps many, things.
The food was good but not excellent and sometimes recycled, due to the excessive amount of people it seemed to me like I was in the university canteen: Endless queues even under the sun. The tables were very close to each other and you had to wander around a lot to find free ones. The location of the rooms very far from the central body which forced us to "march" a lot to reach the services of the structure (I saw people going around in circles for a long time!) It would be advisable to provide for an increase in the number of shuttles within the structure with continuous rounds to pick up guests as happens in other locations.
The train is only available to go down to the beach and the platforms, along a dusty path that takes your breath away and with branches of vegetation that bang on it and so you have to be careful.
The distances are unsuitable on foot for older people or families with small children. And what about the beach......Deckchairs placed next to each other.....with what that entails!!
We did not complain about the daily cleaning carried out by good, very kind and helpful ladies.
All the staff showed courtesy and availability: We need to review the critical issues found and focus on quality not quantity.

Highly recommended! We in this Resort had a great time, we had a wonderful holiday but we are aware that this is also thanks to a small "update" purchased during Reservation.
So much to start I want to clarify that we booked directly on the alpitour site, so we chose the type of room, flight times and transfer.
The triple superior room includes in addition to all inclusive treatment, also umbrella (in the first three rows) and table (at the Aretusa restaurant!) reserved. This made all the difference although we almost never had the feeling of the crowd/too many people. The room was among those recently renovated. Restaurant reserved for part of the clientele, with à la carte service only in the evening and only for first and second, the rest was all buffet... and what a buffet. You could see not only the variety but also the quality of the raw materials.
The room is spacious, well furnished and functional.
The sandy beach is about 500 meters from the village: the road is dedicated to the village, so no traffic no cars, but only the train that goes back and forth. Absolutely doable on foot, except in the hottest hours. At the train stops there are gazebos and the staff who help to "direct traffic" of people at the busiest hours (and even this I would say absolutely useful to avoid discussions). Unfortunately at the beach there is no drink or food included in the all inclusive (because the bar is outside the village).
The sea view in the part of rocks is made easier by some platforms (with umbrellas) and ladders. Although the view here is beautiful and there are several fish (worth snorkeling), I can say that the platforms are not beautiful to see and I would not recommend this part to those with small children or mobility difficulties.
We also tried the small fitness room (by Reservation, as it is really small).
At the reception kind and extremely available staff.
We went to Syracuse with the village shuttle and this service was also appreciated: honest price.
The village is spacious, green and always tidy and clean.
Great grade at Arenella!

Family trip to celebrate 50 years of marriage of our parents, I must say that everything was perfect: Federica and Desiree at reception always available, smiling, professional and very pretty! At the restaurant the maitre d' Cosmo offered us a bottle to toast the special occasion, the chef made us a great lemon cake and the legendary Heidi celebrated with us as if she were family! Fantastic animators, always positive, energetic, engaging, funny!!! Every person, from the first to the last, greeted us every time we passed, with a smile. È stato davvero come se fossimo a casa!!!
The rooms are very large compared to average! And in full rustic style that takes the green all around (they are not old, as I read in other reviews. If they were modern, they would stone with all the outdoor context and seaside resorts!).
The only flaw: the courtesy line is supplied in tablets that dissolve immediately and consequently you would need double. The intent of the facility I imagine is to use non-polluting material and easy disposal. Intention that I appreciate very much but the quantity provided should be reviewed.
Consigliatissimo!!! Ci mancherete!!!

Given that I had already been there 2 years ago, I could unfortunately see that the level of ingredients used in the kitchen for lunch and dinner has deteriorated and not a little. That said, I can only praise all the staff for their kindness and helpfulness. The room was large and always well cleaned, at the beach not going late I never had problems with availability umbrellas and sunbeds. Breakfast quite varied but monotonous. Alpitour support in non-existent structure on arrival and departure but this is not a YOU problem. Lastly I arrived late in the evening on August 18 due to a flight delay, the planned and included dinner were unfortunately "leftovers" ...... I doubt I will go back.

I just finished my 2 week holiday at this property with my family. It is the fourth year that I have used it and I can only express positive opinions about the structure and the staff in service. This year we have also noticed improvements in the green areas, very well maintained and really well maintained, pleasant to the eye, and you can see that the gardener is a very scrupulous person. I have also noticed improvements in the Bar service. The VOI Gusto Bar open all day with a truly gourmet aperitif service was very inviting. Brave Lucia and Monica, always professional. Too bad that on several occasions someone tasteful with a toothpick takes food from the service offered to guests, puts it in his mouth and reuses the same toothpick to pick up other food.... really a gentleman ......
The staff at the Aretusa Restaurant always friendly and available to satisfy any request...... a thanks to Chef Saverio really smart and a special one to all the guys in the room, Gabriel from this year Maitre, Giorgia, Rebecca (for me the number 1) , Graziana, Chiara and Nunzia.... as far as entertainment is concerned... this year we are at a much higher level than in previous years, you see that the budget granted this year is richer, really high-level shows and very prepared artists... I want to express a big thanks to Roberto.... the Tennis teacher, a really positive, capable, professional person who made me rediscover, the pleasure of tennis despite my age.... on the beach at the Lido everything is ok, except that paying to have the first row now does not make sense.... in the morning and afternoon you are in the middle of the activity of the YOU animation because the shoreline is now the only space available for these activities on the beach.... I understand the natural erosion of the sea, but not being able to rest or read a book in 15 days is really annoying.
