The rooms are clean and have everything you need, even air-conditioning. Very good value for money! Staff is friendly and helpful. A basic breakfast is also included. And it is very close to the train station and interbus.it bus station.

When looking for a hotel close to Ortigia, hotel Archimede I think is an excellent choice. We come to Sicily and Siracusa since almost 10 years and always enjoyed our stay at h A. very much. The rooms are good and have a reasonable price. By feet Ortigia can be reached in 10 minutes. A great plus is the service... More

I had a lovely stay here, with the staff very friendly. The lobby was a wonderfully quaint flavour of old Sicily, with piano, screens, rugs and a parrot cage (occupied). The rooms were clean and functional and the corridors had lots of theatre posters - from London on the first flor, and classical plays from the ancient theatre on the... More

The staff were very helpful and flexible beforehand over changes to my booking. They were also very helpful on my departure day. The price was good value and the location is very near the bus and train stations which was useful. It is also only a short walk into the main attractions of Ortigia. The free wifi worked well.

For all that it is, this hotel is located close to the train station and a 10-minute walk to the beautiful Ortygia-side of Syracuse. The rooms are vintage -- but don't expect too much. The wifi in the room was good, though. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and really went out of their way to ensure my partner had... More

This hotel is a similar style and comfort level as the hotel in Fawlty Towers, but the staff are much nicer. The rooms are clean and comfortable and a bargin for the price. The staff speak English and are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and the wifi signal was quite strong in the room. The... More

We stayed in the hotel for four days . The staff was extremely helpful and cooperative. Rooms were spacious with very good air conditioning. Location is great as bus stops and station are in close proximity . The hotel is economical given the comfort level.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night. It was fine for our needs, but in a bit of a run down area near the station. Breakfast was ok and we met Archimedes the parrot! We also had parking for our car. The room was in need of a refurb, but was clean.

Fantastic value for money. The theme and decoration were quaint and charming and the room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were congenial and friendly and always happy to assist. Altogether a very pleasant experience and perfect for an unpretentious stay at an economical price.
