A simple hotel with very good location. Only 5 minutes walk to the old town on the island. The building is old, but the owners keep the rooms in as good shape as possible. The room was clean. The worst was the view from the window: All I saw was wall only 5 m away and a fire escape. (Room... More

A very comfortable, clean and well-located hotel. We were lucky to find room at the last minute, but staff were very helpful. An easy walk to the island and old town. The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful with tourist and historical information. She even helped us find accommodation for the next stage of our journey around Sicily,... More

Hotel Casa Mia fitted us perfectly. A bit away from the crowded bustle of Ortigia Island, it is still close enough to walk there. We found a street-side parking place, and left the car there undisturbed for three days. The hotel manager brought out a drying rack so we could dry some hand-washed clothes on a courtyard walkway. A bus... More

The location is great and the staff are friendly. The rooms are very dusty and dated. There were several mosquitos in the room-the hotel should provide mosquitos nets or at the very least clean the blood smears from the wall. Wifi only works in the wee hours of the morning. I am sure it would be easy to find a... More

A lovely small hotel on the main road, Corso Umberto, almost a straight walk from the bus/railway station, taking about 20 minutes. Sign rather inconspicuous but once you buzz yourself in, there's a warm welcome from the courtly proprietor who speaks perfect English. Ably assisted by two charming young ladies who are very helpful with directions to take the little... More

The location is quite good, less than 10min walk to Ortigia. The room itself was quite nice. Bathroom on the other hand had a bad smell, and constant noise of leaky water. Also fridge in the room was noisy + you could hear people from the rooms upstairs/next to you. WiFi worked on and off. Beds were clean and comfortable... More

Located on Corso Umberto Primo, Casa Mia is midway between the new and old town (Ortygia). Rooms are furnished with solid wood furniture and perfectly air conditioned. Breakfast: one one but two large freshly baked cakes, varying each day, and out of which customers cut their portions; freshly baked mini breads, a large jug of pink grapefruit - fantastic. And...
