Peaceful countryside location yet within a few minutes drive of Syracuse and also an excellent base from which to explore jewels like Noto, Modica, Ragusa and some good beaches too. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed interesting conversations with Dora. Accommodation was comfortable including airco and fridge in room. Restaurant with plenty of choice of good food and wine enjoyed on outdoor terraces surrounded by lemon trees.

Lovely peaceful room with terrace adjacent to lemon trees. The gardens were pretty and colourful, lovely to relax on a bench under a tree with a book. and the pool was inviting. Dora was especially helpful when she offered to purchase a padlock for our suitcase when we discovered we had lost ours. She was friendly and welcoming when she introduced herself when we were dining in the restaurant on the first night. It is just a shame that the service from the restaurant staff was sadly lacking - slow and not very interested. The food itself was a bit disappointing - hot fish served with cold vegetable. If the service from the restaurant was up to that which Dora offers, this place would merit 5 stars.

Dear guests, thank you very much for your good review! the spirit of agriturismo is to meet local people and to talk to them and to get to know them . i guess i do my best to have guests that feel at home in my place . The food may sometimes be a bit different from what you expect , but this can be sorted out when you tell immediately so we can offer a different dish and/or an alternative . In any case you overall judgement was positive and this is the important for me . i hope to have you as my guests soon . best regards Dora .

We stayed here as a family for one night as we flew into Palermo and out of Catania. We wished we had stayed longer. Staying in a B&B (mini hotel) that is on a lemon farm can only be cool I thought and it certainly was, is was a pleasure. They have lovely breakfast, brilliant staff, especially Valentina, Antonio, the gardener, the chef, the maid and of course the Manageress and her Mum. Dora is a classy lady that is ultra helpful...we needed beach towels, they arrived, we needed a later checkout and on our occasion she fixed it. I think the big boss is the Mother though :-). I am fussy and I highly recommend this lovely and quaint B&B / Agriturismo.....

We came late at night, and it was such a pleasant welcome, with the beautiful large farm entre, nice hosts and the scent of orangeblossoms. For dinner I had seabass prepared in broth and vegetables, and it was just what I needed. It was delicious and tasted very homemade, just like the one you would imagine an old italian grandmother would make. For 'dessert' we drank a little to much limoncello, cause it was sooo good (to the point that we got a little too drunk). Ofcause it was homemade limoncello made from organic lemons from the farm 'ovviamente si si', and it was the best limoncello ive ever had! The day after the owner Dora offered us to take a trip with her around the farm, to learn about the agriculture, the fruits of the garden and history on the farm. It was so interesting, and im so happy she offered us this walk and took her time to tell us about her farms story. In the afternoon we stayed at the pool, surrounded by lemontrees, and enjoyed the serene and peaceful moment. The staff on the hotel have been nothing but super nice, welcoming, serviceminded with a big italian charme and warmth. It was definitely the best stay on our 1 week trip on Sicily. Im so happy that my friend found this place. Absolutely recommendable! Ps: I bought their oliveoil (made from very old trees, the oldest is over 1000 years old! That is just so unimaginable and unique!) and lemonmarmelade as a souvenir. And it was absolutely delicious!

Dear Guest Sanne, It is such a gret reward to receive a review like this . We always , alway do our best to make people feel at home . We want that Limoneto is your home away from home . This was the spirit when Limoneto appeared on the market and we were the first and only ones in Siracusa . My Mom and Dad were the pioneers of agriturismo . Ant this is the spirit that we still have today , welcoming people as part of our family . I have enjoyed very much the tour of the limoneto with you , and I have had the feeling that you loved that too. I hope to see you again at Limoneto , with your friend . Love Dora

Limonetto offers a warm welcome, made to order dinners and spacious spotless rooms in the midst of an extensive lemon grove. A peaceful rural location with quick and easy access to Siracusa, full breakfasts, friendly service, pool, bocce, library lounge and elegant surroundings. Dora and her charming parents are gracious hosts. Highly recommended. ps Dora provided plentiful local tour suggestions and advice, and warned us of the current 'broken mirror' scam. A car pulls alongside, claims you broke his mirror, and demands cash. Solution? Say you'll call Polizia Stradale, at 113. Ladro sparisci, subito!

dear friends from Ireland , thank you very much indeed for this great and fantastic review! i am very grateful that you are highlighting the most important things for us : a warm welcome that we always give to our guests, language permitting! then we try to offer a quiet and clean place where to enjoy the sound of the countryside ; and certainly the food , that is also very important . Breakfast and dinner are looked after personally from us . it is also important to have moments of conversation with our guests , in order to know about little problems that might arise also outside like in the streets or places that they visit . With regard to the scam man that you reported, I have not heard of him any more from other guests , so I guess that someone took action. thank you very much for your visit and I hope to have you among my guests in the near future again . best regards Dora
