We loved it. We paid for one night, but we prolonged our stay here because it was perfect. 'Nuff said 😊 Comfy bed, big kitchen with moka. Suggestion in syracuse: avoid the street food, but spend and go for good restaurants, otherwise you will be really disappointed.

We rented the a room which turned out to be a first level with a king bed and a loft space with two single beds. It was by far one of the most comfortable places we stayed throughout our European adventure. The bathroom is quite large and includes a bathtub, a walk-in shower, a sink, a toilet and a bidet....

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights in Syracuse the accommodation is absolutely fantastic its spacious and clean. The owner (Roberta) is extremely helpful and showed us where to visit in and around Syracuse providing instructions on our map. We were provided with a continental breakfast each morning in a cafe right beside us and all the main...

Ortigia Residence is not a hotel, it's more or less some rooms directly in the middle of Siracusa. Location wise it's perfect. It's really in the middle of everything, nothing is too far away from the place. Basically it's just an old house (with some shabby entrance and some nasty stairs to walk up), with 3 (?) rooms and a...

Really huge room. Our room had 3 different parts to it and could have slept 10 people or something. Amazing. The bathroom was huge and had a bath and a shower. Also the sink was in a different room which was handy if you wanted to brush your teeth or use the mirror while someone was in the shower. Pretty...

We rented the Archimedes room which had a fully equipped kitchen. Couldn't have asked for a better kitchen. The BnB has a fabulous location in the heart of Ortigia. Everything is a short 5 or 10 minute walk. Our host, Roberta, is bright, charming and always ready to assist. She has an intimate knowledge of the city, it's points of...

Hmmmmm. Have mixed feelings about this place. We stayed in the apartment which slept four people. Two single beds on the lower floor, and a double bed on the mezzanine level. It is an old building, and lots of character. The lady who greeted us Roberta, was extremely helpful, and such a wonderful lady, who was extremely welcoming, and a...

Very nice and helpful host Roberta - she assisted us with everything we needed; the welcome was friendly and efficient, the tips about the town were helpful and superb restaurants recommendations. No problem with English. Excellent location in the heart of island. Very large and clean rooms, though little bit "empty". Comfi beds. Italian breakfast (cappuccino and croissant) in the...

Stayed at the Ortigia Residence at the end of March 2012. It was our 40th wedding anniversary and with the help of the owner (Roberta) everything was perfect. Roberta was "always" available to assist us with anything we needed. The location, room and value was excellent. I would not stay anywhere else when we return to Syracuse for our next...

Stayed on Ortigia island in Syracuse at the beginning of October and was absolutely delighted with this beautiful bed and breakfast. The rooms were enormous - bedroom/living room, kitchen and bathroom. It was fully equiped for self-catering and spotlessly clean. Roberta was so helpful, providing us with whatever information requested - bus timetables, directions, etc. We thought the breakfast would...
