Friendly staff, beautifull and clean rooms, great sea view, a very good and tasty breakfast, nearby the historic centre of ortigia...so nothing to complain about... There only was the parking problem...we lost half a day in the local police station because the mirrors were stolen from our rented car at the public parking lot... but we could easyli relativate this... We stayed at this property in October 2016. We were traveling with friends and requested sea view rooms-we were not disappointed. One of our rooms had a balcony that we could sit on and have a glass of wine, but most balconies were very small. Rooms were large and very comfortable. We had a great buffet breakfast every morning with... More

I am not sure this Hotel should call itself a Boutique hotel, it may well have been in the past. The best point’s great location and staff are very accommodating and the rooms are clean. One point to bear in mind when booking is that not all rooms have a sea view, this is not always clear from the other... More

We had a ocean view room with two balconies and this was on our budget. Amazing place with the pasiagatta (sp?) street around the corner. I'd return in a heartbeat. The staff was incredibly sweet, rooms clean and quite, tasty breakfast.

Stayed here for 6 nights as part of a tour. Had a great room with a view of the sea. Here are some pros and cons of this hotel to help you decide if it is worth it. Horrible internet speed - essentially no access Smelly toilet Noisy doors, buzz when opened and slam shut waking you up at any... More

This hotel is located on Ortigia, which is the best place to stay in Syracuse Italy. The front rooms are directly on the sea with fantastic views. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The room we had was spacious, as was the very nice bathroom. The location is great, near to many restaurants and shops.

This hotel's views and location make it excellent. It's definitely a 4 star hotel... to improve I would quit using perfume spray in the rooms, decorate the rooms a bit more elegantly and clean them a bit better. New curtains, furniture etc to spruce it up and make it 5 star. The location and hotel balconies are the BEST though.

The Royal Maniace is a beautifully remodeled hotel in what originally was a monastery built in ca. 1700. The interior space has been totally redone to modern standards. Our room was a deluxe double with sea view and balcony. The room was quite spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a large bathroom. Views from the balcony were spectacular. Hotel staff were... More

We booked the hotel last minute, 2 hours prior to arrival. The concierge was very helpful with parking our car and checking in was a matter of seconds. Our room was nice, with a beautiful sea view and value is very good. Only a small note is the perfume in our room which was way too intrusive. Still I would... More

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location right on the Ionian Sea. Breakfast was good. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. If you have a fragrance intolerance, call ahead and ask them not to spray your room.
