easy to get to off the airport bus, and from the train station, this is a solid hotel in the centre of palermo. The rooms are okay and a good size, though look a little tired, but the bathrooms are good and spacious - could do without a step up into it though that you can trip over first thing!... More

The hotel is conveniently located smack in the middle of the old town making it easy to get around. Our room, whilst dated was big and clean and the air conditioning worked well. The hotel has a charming old fashioned elevator and a fantastic terrace for watching the sun set. My only suggestion would be if they could ensure that... More

This little gem of a hotel was great. It's walking distance to the train and bus station and the main tourist spots. It was clean and the size was good. Also, we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast on the rooftop terrace. It offers beautiful views of Palermo with its red tiled roofs and mountains. We also had drinks and appetizers on... More

We arrived late and had pre-booked a room for 10 nights but were shown to a room on the 5th Floor. very disappointing room with old furniture and cupboards which had definitely seen better days. The shower was not one you'd want to step into with mould evident. I spoke to the Night Porter who said he'd arrange for us... More

Very helpful staff. A lovely big airy room with modern ensuite., although the bathroom needs a bit of TLC but nothing horrendous. Air con is a blessing and clean towels provided every day. We had breakfast included with the package which is taken on the roof terrace. Amazing views both day and night. Breakfast was ok but we found a... More

Most features of this hotel were very good. Excellent friendly and responsive staff, Good location for walking anywhere, scary but fun old elevator, nice clean rooms, and of course the beautiful rooftop terrace and restaurant. I would love to give this hotel a much higher rating, but due to the incredible street noise, our stay was just not that enjoyable.... More

I'll be honest, Palermo wasn't my favorite part of Sicily...but the rooftop terrace and dining at Ambasciatori calmed my nerves. After arriving to honking, honking and more honking...this city had us at our wits end. Luckily the views and a glass of vino on the terrace made it all worth while.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. It was clean and in a great location; in the centro storico (old section). Very walkable, although the taxi driver from the airport said that we shouldn't be walking around at night in that area. We never had any issues; the people were always very welcoming. We had a quadruple room, a "matrimoniale"... More

This hotel is located near many sites and restaurants. There is a small, old style elevator (you have to close the doors and the gate for it to work). The room was clean and staff was friendly. WiFi was decent. We had a very small shower but overall room size was fine. This is really a three star hotel with... More

While we were in our room, someone unlocked and opened the door twice. Each time we immediately asked who it was, but the door closed. By the time we opened the door to see who it was, the hallway was empty. Not a warm fuzzy feeling at all. Room was small, very uncomfortable bed, 2 parking spots are suppose to... More
