Arriving late at night after a flight from Naples we were informed that dinner was not possible as there was only one chef on duty for the whole hotel so we had snack food from a packet at the bar. The waiter was extremely apologetic and efficient. At breakfast the next morning we felt we were in a nursing home!...

A old style rather grand hotel in central Palermo, very well placed for the major sights. Comfortable room and lovely open air bar on the roof. EXcellent breakfast buffet where you can stuff your own cannoli. On leaving, our entire group was charged a newly introduced tourist tax that had already been paid by our tour operator, so just check...

The Federico II is a well converted old palazzo in the centre of the more upmarket area of Palermo. The staff are extremely helpful and polite and there is a good bar area. The rooms are comfortable in a boutique kind of way although the mini bar fridge is too small to accommodate anything other than what is provided. Unfortunately...

Great location to downtown Palermo, but interior lobby and rooms are a little dated. Restaurant located on top floor above all the rooms and I kept pressing the elevator button for down instead of up. Stayed in room 302 and the security lock box was not working. I forgot some my tooth brush, toothpaste and deodorant, but this hotel had...

Simply, this was a wonderful surprise at an extremely reasonable rate with parking included. Every staff member in any of the service areas from the front desk to the breakfast and dining areas was helpful and courteous. And the rooms we were given were spacious and very well designed and appointed (however, we were shown a smaller room option which,...

An immaculate spot, renovated, modern , slick, sifisticated. Well run and very gratuitous run. Plesently surprised . Very good breakfast and gourmet dinner. The front desk is always ready to give you all the information and even confirm the plane for the following day.

Great location, nice staff but small rooms and no bars of soap anywhere. No workout room either. Breakfast was marginal and air conditioning inadequate for summer temperatures. Water cost $2.75 in hotel and $1 across the street. No luggage rack in the room so if you have 2 bags you have to stack on furniture. Typical challenging European shower if...

We stayed at this hotel during a group tour. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of several sites and restaurants. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel and were happy with the quality of the meal. Unfortunately the negatives outweighed the positives. On our first day there four of us were taking the elevator upstairs to dinner, the elevator...

QUiet smart, relaxing , modern, classical hotel with such quick walk to so many great outdoor restaurants, well known shops and tourist attractions. Loved the huge breakfast variety and welcoming staff, especially the very helpful young lady on the reception desk and lovely Emanuela tending to us at the bar, made us and our teenage children feel so welcome and...
