Located on the fifth floor of a big old building (there is an elevator), our room was huge with new furnishings and a small balcony. The shared bathroom was just outside the room but we did have a sink inside. Albergo Cavour is not your typical hotel. It's located on the 6th floor of an apartment building. The accommodation was very old fashioned but close to the termini. There is not much to do around the neighbourhood. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms were an interesting set up as toilet paper has to go into a separate bin.

We stayed here overnight since it was close to the train station. We were told not to flush toilet paper down the toilet and to instead put it in a bin which made the bathroom smell.
