Ok first the POSITIVES about this hotel - 1. Very clean rooms (honestly I think they may have some of the best chambermaids I’ve ever experienced) the room was spotless every day. 2. Amazingly good shower (especially given the age of the fixtures and fittings) 3. Great hairdryers (no need to keep the button pressed down - this was a salon quality hairdryer) Now the NEGATIVES: 1. The surrounding area of the hotel is filthy and it’s a good long walk into the centre (15-20 mins) of Palermo 2. The hotel and half of the of the rooms look like they’ve dropped out of a 1970s time machine. 3. The TV has about a hundred Italian channels and despite being promised English speaking channels (after channel 400 we were told by nearly every member of staff) there were none. I would have settled for French channels but they didn’t even have those despite being a neighbour of Italy, 4. The WiFi didn’t work for 2 of the 3 nights we were there. So no tv channels and no WiFi left me feeling like I’d been conned. 5. The restaurant on the ground floor was very dated and reminded me of faulty towers. We had breakfast included in our stay and after seeing and experiencing the quality of the food and coffee in there, I decided to buy it outside after the first day. In essence, don’t be fooled by the photos, I’ve stayed in better 3* hotels in nicer areas, with better coffee, breakfast, tv channels and working WiFi!

We were staying here for one night prior to our train to Taormina. We needed to catch a bus with our luggage from the train station to get here as it's over 30min walk otherwise. The hotel is large and very business structured. There was a large group of school children there on possibly a conference so it was a little annoying using the lifts. There is only 3 lifts for 14 floors and the lifts are slow and small so often you have to wait 5 minutes before you can actually get one. The room is small, i.e. bed and ensuite and that's about it but it is clean in the room. The carpets in the hallway are in need of replacement with all the stains. The shower is in a bathtub and we tried various ways and still couldn't figure out how to drain the water at the plug. We are hoping the cleaners would be ok dealing with it. The bed was great, slept soundly. The breakfast has a large spread and the hot food is ok. Overall ok for a short stay.

Some of the reviews here , make out the hotel is bad I stayed here for 4 nights, on a conference. The hotel rooms are clean , good shower , nice new towels every day. The hotel is a tourist style hotel, bus party’s in for one night, and then changing again. Great staff, Would stay here again

This area is a 30 minute walk at least from central Palermo , very noisy all night and right next to a wholesaler market that starts from around 4:30 am Very old rooms and very basic food . Staff were all lovely, but definitely better to stay more central or right out near the water

We spend one night with a group. The hotel is not in walking distance from the center of Palermo. We had dinner of poor quality and we had to eat dinner and breakfast down at the -1 level, even though it has 14 floors. The waiter was brutal. The lobby was good enough. The rooms were good enough. The elevators were not reliable. I had to wait 25 minutes for an elevator to stop and take me down with my suitcase. So be carefull if a bus and a whole group is waiting for you for depart
