This B&B was well situated to explore the old town of Palermo. The hosts were extremely helpful in finding great food options as well as suggestions of what to see. Breakfasts were also very generous. Rooms were quirky but tasteful.

We only were able to stay one night in Palermo but this Bed and Breakfast place was fabulous and quirky! Attention to detail in the rooms was immaculate. Alessandro met us late at night after our flight was delayed and recommended a Trattoria only minutes walk away which we would not have found ourselves. Woke up to a fabulous breakfast... More

This is probably one of the best places I've ever been. Not only because of the beautiful rooms, the attention is just the best. If there's something they can help you with, they won't even ask, you will have your problems solved in just minutes.

Stayed at B&B Porta di Castro for 3 nights in June. This is a quirky b&b in the back streets of the city. Not a pretty location but very central for all the main sites and for picking up the hop-on-hop-off buses. The staff were lovely and very helpful and friendly and speak good English. Be aware, there are no... More

We arrived in Palermo after traveling around Sicily for 10 days. Lost within minutes, we called Alessandro who came by scooter to lead us to the hotel. He then arranged for someone to help us return our car to Hertz on the other side of town (we NEVER would have found it) Having then realized that we had left an... More

This B&B is delightful - in a great location on a tiny street very near the center of the old city, easy to walk everywhere. Delicious breakfast, clean and comfortable room, wonderful customer service. Driving was interesting but Alexander met us and helped park the car. Quirky and in my books fabulous decorating, wherever you look there is something interesting... More

This old church was refurbished in a very original and eclectic way, which includes vespa motorcycles inside the rooms and the diner and many unexpected things. There is no elevator. It's located near the main attractions but this means that the neighborhood is overwhelming, not to mention that in Palermo there are no rules to drive a car, bike or... More

Fantastic place with a magnificent breakfast. Alessandro came and picked us up by bike when our SatNav got us hopelessly lost. He and his brother then securely parked our car. The staff helped with our luggage and we were then re-allocated a more convenient room on the first floor, with balcony, as we are both well over 60. Alessandro also... More

Guest house is beautifully decorated with lots of interesting curios and items. Every room is different with old and new being mixed with amazing effect. Lots of vespas positioned around the property giving it a real Italian ambience. Hosts very amenable and the breakfast is to die for , it just keeps coming. Delicious Sicilian pastries, cold meats and cheeses,... More

Alessandro the owner was very welcoming even though we arrived late, and even walked us to a local restaurant after showing us on a map the best places to visit and eat. B&B is originally decorated, comfortable beds and good shower with generous breakfast (we turned down the toasties after first two mornings and stuck to the fruit platter, yoghurt,... More
