Don't get scared about all those reviews about crazy Palermo drivers and one way streets. They're the same as everywhere else in Italy. Go anyway, use your GPS, and stay in this sweet, well decorated and modern hotel, located in exactly the right place: in the old part of town. It has a spa with all sorts of services, a... More

This is a truly lovely hotel. Big spacious room, great decor and ambience and well thought through. Right at the bottom of the centro storico by the port its good if you like walking to see the sights, and shopping. Twenty/thirty minutes leisurely walk to cathedral. Some good restaurants nearby in corso vittorio emmanuelle. A lovely old building in via... More

Overall, we had a great week's stay at the Hotel Porta Felice. Staff of the hotel were all very friendly and helpful to any queries / questions that we had. The reception desk was very helpful upon arrival and we actually ended up with an 'upgraded room' which was a happy surprise. Room needless to say was fantastic. Large bedroom... More

My husband and I stayed, only one night, and really enjoyed this hotel. We had arrived, after a couple of nights in Paris in a small hotel room, to a large room with a very comfy king size bed and large bathroom. We had drinks before dinner in the restaurant and then a wonderful meal of seafood risotto! The hotel... More

well i must disagree with below, travelling is my business and also my passion. This is about the best hotel i have along with the family have stayed. Centrally situated with all mod cons. The rooms were excellent, the roof terrace for breakfast stunning with views over Palermo. Reception were excellent, every need requirement fulfilled, 1st class customer service. If... More

If you go to this hotel do not let them put you on the third floor, the restaurant on the terrace is on the 4th floor and it gets pretty noisy,The people in the front desk are very nice , the hotel is very far from the airport from the beach , Its convenient if you visit the historical sites,... I stayed one night and glad it was only one night. My room was on the third floor directly below the restaurant. There is no acoustic insulation in the floor and therefore the noise was awful from every chair scraping on the tiled floor to the clattering of heels etc. This meant no early night as planned and a very... Dear Customer, Thank you for your review and for staying with us. Sorry you've been troubled by noise from the breakfast room, sometimes happen to have the most noisy customers of the other. Thanks to your reporting we proceeded to replace the toilet cover that was ruined. Our hotel only has a few years of life, however; nevertheless we program... More

I was very surprised with this hotel, stayed there for 3 nights, staff was incredible, we were given a very nice and ample suite, with an extraordinary bathroom, that sometimes in Europe is hard to find. Centrally located, free Wi-Fi and breakfast was included, much much better that a continental breakfast. Will go back again and I recommend it.

Sicily was a last minute decision that we made after a tour through Europe, that started in Amsterdam and continued through to Germany, Austria and then Italy; it was just what our Dr. would have prescribed for us, he has been after my husband to relax more. We were in Palermo for 4 days but the hotel only had availability... More
