The B&B is in a great location - quiet, safe and vibrant area near Piazza Politeama, on the fashionable via Ruggero Settima, while also a very short walking distance to the Palermo old center. There is a plenty of good restaurants nearby to meet budget. A huge bonus of this B&B is a free parking inside the courtyard of the... More

I have been to Palermo many times in my life and was so excited and surprised to find such a hidden gem right in the heart of Palermo. The owner, Giuseppe, is extremely friendly. The rooms are extremely spacious with high ceilings. The balcony overlooks a parking center which blocks the city street noise from affecting you while you rest... More

Giuseppe was an absolutely amazing host to us during our 2 night stay in the gorgeous room. He gave us a map upon our arrival and highlighted the best areas and sights to see. He's the true Sicilian and even told us to avoid spots that became too touristy, or not "really" Sicilian. He directed us to Teatro Massimo and... More

We arrived late to this wonderful hidden hotel. The Owner, Giuseppe, came out to the street to get us because we were lost. We were right across the square. First let me say that this lovely place is not down an ally but a high fashion entry from the street. Once you get into the parking area, look around and... More

Palazzo Pantaleo is situated off Via Ruggero Settimo, a very nice area of Palermo with upscale shops and restaurants.Because it is off the main street, it is quiet, yet convenient. The bed and breakfast is a charming place with a cozy and bright breakfast room and a communal kitchen. Our room was beautiful with high ceilings and inlaid floor; the... More

My daughter and I stayed at Palazzo Pantaleo for a few days when we arrived in Sicily and then again on our last night. We could not have had a better experience. Giuseppe was a truely wonderful host. He made us feel at home immediately, looked after us the entire time and went out of his way to make our... More

This is an excellent place managed by a very supportive Gentleman, conveniently located in a central location, yet sheltered from the noise of the city. The entrance hall is simple, yet stylish. The breakfast is fine.

I stayed here in 2011 and it has stayed with me since. Such a fantastic hotel in the heart of the wonderful Palermo. The rooms were immaculate and thankfully cool on an unforgiving Sicilian summer day. The hotel owner was a gem, even returning a 'left in the wardrobe' sweater and providing us with his mobile for any queries we... More

I had low expectations for our B&B stay in Palermo because it was a bit challenging to find the 'front' door - walk behind a building, across a courtyard and enter a hallway of an older building. But once you buzzed the intercom and were greeted by owner, Giuseppe Scaccianoce, everything changed. Giuseppe was gracious and welcomed us to the... More
