Super central, very clean and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Had a room with balcony with a view of Mount Etna. Via Etnea is a very busy and noisy street so if you want a quiet room avoid the front rooms. The building is old fashioned but still lovely.

All I can say to summarise is, do not stay here. No water means no flushing toilets, no showers, no washing. We were told the problem was city wide, although the restaurant next door had water. This was a very hot day. The lift stopped between floors trapping my family, and it took over an hour to free them. A... More

The room was really nice.. The air condition worked perfectly, we had a small fridge which turned our water into ice.. But the let-down was, that the wifi wasn't working except near the reception area. They told us that the technician was going to come the next morning but the problem wasn't resolved 5 days later till our stay lasted!... More

We arrived at 9pm with a very tired toddler, so we just wanted to check in and get to sleep as soon as possible. The room we were given (No 6) was, we were told, very quiet. Having read other reviews, we should have had alarm bells ringing, but just accepted the initial problems. Having a toddler, we needed to... More

It's a good job we only stayed for 2 nights. Though the staff was invariably courteous, the air-conditioning and the refrigerator were both out of order. The refrigerator was changed the next day after we asked. The balcony door cannot be opened for fresh air and coolness during the night, as nose from street traffic keeps one awake. Additionally the... More

Excellent location right in the center of Catania, which also means that you fall asleep (if you can) to the sound of people partying outside till early hours of the morning. Very friendly staff, free wi-fi, spacious but rather run down room. Fair prices, though, so good for budget accommodation if you plan to spend most of your time outside.... More

We have stayed at this Hotel many times as it is located in the centre of Catania, and have received excellent service and good accommodation. However, new management combined with lack of poor accommodation, air conditioning not working left a lot to be desired when we returned there in July, 2015. We had to pay twice for 2 double rooms... I would suggest booking this hotel when visiting Catania. It is surrounded by shops and the market is just 10 minutes away by walk. The hotel is very clean, breakfast good for the money we paid and the staff friendly and helfull.
