We arrived at midnight. The hotel had arranged a taxi for us from the airport, and this all went very smoothly. Although not in the best part of town, the hotel itself was very clean, and the staff helpful. The room was basic, but clean and spacious, with a modern bathroom. Breakfast was good enough. We felt that we got...

Currently staying here with kids and having a enjoyable stay. Family room is large for children to play and rooms seem sound proof!!! Great place , not disappointed at all. Good location and fantastic helpful team of staff. Would most definitely stay here again.

We were a bit disappointed when we arrived tired after a seven hour journey by bus and train from the west of Sicily as the hotel is in a run down part of town exactly opposite the train station and doesn't give a good first impression. Unlike the marble tiled modern hotels we had previously stayed at, the Villa Romeo...

An ideal hotel for those who want to travel to different places within Sicily. Train station, Metro and different bus stations are 1 minute away. Staff are very friendly and the hotel and room were very clean.

Great experience staying here. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Especially Giuseppe & Francesco! Grazie. Travelling with my mother who needs to use a wheelchair most of the time this hotel was ideal. They have 1 disabled room which is spacious (accommodating both a wheelchair and a mobility scooter as well as luggage with ease) with a walk...

I chose this Catania hotel because it was so pretty in such a drab area as well as for its proximity to the bus and train station. It was very easy getting to and from the airport as the Alibus stop is so close to this hotel. Our twin room was very prettily decorated in strong beautiful colours, and looked...

The interior of the hotel is beautiful and the inside of the room matched the outside decor. Our room faced an indoor courtyard with greenery. The bed was comfortable. There is some outside noise (not sure if street noise or inside hotel but was a minimum compared to other hotels). My only complaint is the small shower, but it had...

Catania is a nightmare to drive around and find hotels even with satnav. Wish we had gone straight to Hotel Villa Romeo as other hotels and B&Bs are odd to say the very least. This is a lovely, proper hotel with charming staff, large rooms and a great breakfast room and terrace and just across from the station and easy...

Almost across the street from the central train station and the bus depot. About a mile from the two biggest cathedrals and the amazing fish market. Rooms are okay and breakfast is very good. Best part is Francesco and Claudio and the rest of the staff. Very best service!

This hotel is near the station and so is very convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Get a room on the first floor facing the patio. The room doors open onto this space - which is wonderful! Do not expect a great breakfast though, it is no more than adequate, but you cannot expect perfection at the price...
