We booked this hotel as we had an early flight the following day from Catania.
The grounds are well tended with pleasing seating areas. Rooms ok but not of the calibre I would expect for 5 stars. Staff we encountered were not interested in their...More
This is our first trip advisor review. We are sorry that it could not be more favourable. Romano Palace may have offered luxury accommodation and quality service a while ago but not now. The rooms are tired and do not look at all like those...More

The hotel posts the travel time, reserve at front desk. I am sorry I do not recall the exact time, but there is a morning shuttle and possibly up to three a day. There is also public bus service, at that time for one euro. It is either B or D that brings you the the bus terminal downtown. If you take the morning shuttle and do not want to wait for the hotels shuttle the bus is handy to meet your tour time needs.
