Excellent location a few minutes from the main square and cathedral. This hotel is efficient and spacious clean well decorated rooms. The staff were very friendly especially mimmo Breakfast is fresh cakes juices coffees etc continental style. The shops are right outside however due to the sound proof windows you will have a perfect nights sleep. Would recommend

What to say? The location is very good - all the city sights are near. The owners are very helpful and nice. And our room was lovely (the family room.) Downside, we had to pay extra for breakfast (but that was because we had booked through booking.com.) Catania is not the most scenic city (frustrated to see so much graffiti!)... More

Very good position, in a little street in Catania. After having park out car we walk in all the city. There is no lift few steps for the rooms. There are clean, nice and calm. The corridor is a little bit noisy... But it's alright. The staff is welcome. They help us and give us some explanation. You can have... More

Pros: good value, good location, clean Cons: steep staircase difficult if you have bags, walls paper thin, some staff (male) not helpful and resentful attitude, weird locking system takes a while to work out Overall a good find for the price.

You know, hotels are a fairly simple concept. The guest wants a good night's sleep and a nice hearty breakfast the next morning. This place offers neither. The walls are so thin, that I could here the person next door talking on the phone in their normal voice. I woke up to their alarm. And I woke up to the... More

Poor breakfast , looked mean ,coffee was.cold and of poor quality Unable to obtain map of town right through our stay ! Too many steps to climb (30. ?) before you entered the hotel With a little effort it would have been a more comfortable stay

The room (105) was excellent. Clean and big, with a comfortable double bed, a big closet, nice bathroom. Although the room faced the street we had no problems with the noise! The breakfast was ok although for someone used to eat a lot in the morning it might be tricky. The staff was great!!

Collegiata is located probably in the best spot in Catania, right in the beginning of the semi-pedestrianised part of via Etnea, where at night you can find hundreds of tourists and locals taking their walk. During the day the place around is the heart of Catania market, with dozens of shops around and the famous fish-market in a 5’ walk.... More

Hotel La Collegiata is location on the Via Etnea near Fontane Elefante. We had a big room with nice view to Basalica Collegiata. Every interesting places in Catania you can visit by walk. Breakfast was very simple but good (croissant, yogurt, cereals, coffee, tee and some marmalade). We recommend.

The Hotel Collegiata is located on a small side street just off of the main shopping drag of Via Etnea. This was a perfect location for exploring the city. I visited with some colleagues earlier in January and really enjoyed the hotel. It is certainly basic, but it was clean and comfortable and felt a bit like I was staying... More
