Excellent clean hotel. On arrival check in was quick and smooth beautiful single room with big bed exceptionally clean sheets and towels. I couldn't wait to have a quick shower. Beautiful well stocked bar and of course free wi- fi accessible all over the premises. Breakfast was a real treat also. Staff were also very friendly and happy to converse... More

The hotel itself is nice, but management errors detract in a number of ways. The shower in our bathroom had broken floor sections (see photo), rubbish was left in the corridor on the ground floor resulting in the entrance, lift and 1st floor stinking when we got back from a day out. Breakfast had low quality juice and coffee, which... More

Arrived for a conference, to be greeted and wined and dined by an excellent staff that kept things running smoothly. The hotel staff - especially the bartender Antonio - goes out of its way to be helpful and accomodating - creating a pleasant stay in this great city. The (delux) rooms are spacious and clean, and the terrace area is... More

We spent the first three nights of our Sicilian adventure here. A very comfortable three nights. A stylish hotel but rooms were a little stark! Very central and there is a place to park just around the corner. The people on the front desk are very helpful and friendly - made some excellent suggestions about how to spend the rest... More

The hotel is very well located, in terms of proximity to all that central Catania has to offer. However, it is in an area which is quite mixed: the process of urban renewal is well underway, but ladies of the night operate only 50-100 metres down the street, and not only at night, and our beautiful room looked across to... We stayed four nights in June. Central location, near to the Via Etnea, the Piazza di Duomo and the like. Convenient to and from the airport. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. You'll see other reviews mentioning odd bathroom layouts, but frankly they're still among the best to use I've found in Europe at this price (why European... More

Great Location for a short stay, as it is close to everything around. If you're lucky enough, you would find free parking spots in front of the hotel, or paid ones across the street. However the street might look a bit dodgy late in the evening. Room was clean, modern, toilet shower seemed a bit weird with the tiles dislocated,... More

This Hotel is new, very modern and centrally located in downtown Catania. The architect who designed this hotel must have been high on weed. The room layouts are crazy, the shower in the bathroom is such that water is every where and to get to the toilet requires a flexible body. some in our group had wifi problems but not... More

We had a pleasant two night stay at Hotel Romano House. Beautifully renovated 17th century Villa, you must speak to Giagoho who knows the history and is very passionate about the telling. We stayed in a Superior room on the first floor which had an original fresco ceiling! Don't be put off by the neighborhood, although it looks intimidating we... More
