Stayed here for 5 nights and really liked it. The host, Ricardo was great. Landed slightly late but called Ricardo and he was very helpful. Gave us loads of tips of where to go and where to eat. Clean rooms with all facilities, all rooms are different we got the smaller room but everything was fine. Lift was small so a bit of a squeeze but that wasn't an issue. Breakfast was served every morning and nothing was ever too much for Ricardo. Had an enjoyable stay and if we ever return to Caligari we will definitely stay here again.
The guesthouse is located in a simple block appartments but is very well equiped. The very friendly host give a lot of tips for trips and restaurants. The breakfast is rather simple. The location is also ok.
Sat Nav took us to a road with apartment blocks everywhere. Couldn't work out were the guesthouse actually was in this neighbourhood. It's in one of those apartment blocks. The guesthouse is 4 bedrooms with a communal kitchen area where breakfast was served. We were met by the host who lives upstairs. He gave us a map of the town and suggestions on some restaurants. The room itself was big and spacious with a little balcony. The shower deserves a special mention - it was really good, pressure and temperature excellent. There's a little kitchenette area hidden behind cupboards, we didn't use it so can't make comment. There's a supermarket, pizza place and normal neighbourhood shops nearby. You're not in the tourist area but you can get a bus or even walk. It was a great location for us - with free street parking (it took a couple of laps to get a spot but it was fine). Breakfast was continental style, nothing amazing but certainly sufficient enough to get you started for the day.…
We found this guesthouse easily from the airport and were warmly greeted by the owner. We had booked the economy room, which was perfectly fine for our overnight stay. Good breakfast in the morning, including eggs, and helpful advice for the day from our host. We would definitely stay again if we came through Cagliari
Now let's face it, Cagliari is a rough city, my wife booked a room here simply because it was close to the airport and it was $50 euro a night. Upon turning up i was expecting to find a sign or something, lucky we had google maps, as you need to locate the building number and use the intercom to get let in. As you walk through the doors, there is about 15-20 steps where you need to take a lift up to the 5th or 6th floor - so keep that in mind if you have heavy bags. The owner was very helpful and genuine, we got all check-in within 15 minutes, paid in advance as we checked out 4am. Just keep in mind you are essentially staying in large apartment, first time we had done this. The room is modern was clean however the aircon was too loud and having the windows open too was noisey with the traffic and annoying sirens which could be hear about every hour in the night. All in all for the price you cannot go wrong. If we ever visit Sardinya again, we'll definitely only stay in and fly out from the north around Oliba as it's much nicer there.…
