Absolutely lovely couple - Matteo and Christina - who run the place with huge friendliness and style. Having looked at lots of places in Sardinia online (and having experienced them firsthand) we can tell you that it is hard to find a B&B which is light and airy and beautifully decorated. The simple but extremely well prepped help-yourself breakfast was... More

The B&B Panorama is a wonderful place. Besides comfortable and clean rooms it offers a kitchen with everything you need. Matteo and Cristina prepare food for everyone (bread, fruits, nutella, etc) and you can take whenever you want. It includes a Jura coffee machine, which provides great coffee 24/7. WLAN is also available. The best thing is probably the roof... More

What a great find - very friendly and helpful hosts and in a great location. No car parking but then there is very little here as you are in the middle of the old town and it really isn't a problem as there is free car parking 10 minutes walk away. The room are clean and simply decorated, it's not... More

We loved this B&B because it was so relaxing. The terrace and it's amazing view was just what you need in a busy city. It is in a hidden location, with no parking, but the rooms, location and views make up for the struggle through the cobbled streets of Old Town Alghero so worth it.! Turn the corner and you... More

Exceptional b&b, delightful hosts in Cristina & Matteo. 50 metres from the sea wall and situated in the historic old town with its cobbled alleyways. The rooms are bright and airy, spotlessly clean, the kitchen is very well equipped and stocked and can be used 24hrs a day. There are a few flights of stairs to climb and a couple... More

Exceptional location. Esplanade: 1 minute. 3 minutes to the main street full of shops and restaurants. 5 minutes to the bus station to the airport or to other interesting destinations (go to Bosa by bus!!!). There is a room where breakfast is served in self-catering. The coffee is exceptional! You can choose between cheese, ham, cereal plus various cakes. The... More

The panorama from the top was very very nice. The services were ok. The cofee very good. Fresh milk, fruits, nice pastry. The location perfect in the center old town. Matteo & Cristina very good people, they gave us a map with full instructions from where to rent the bikes, what beach to see, what restaurants are good.

It's wonderful to be able to stay in the heart of the old centre in a quiet street, and there's lots to like about this B&B. Matteo, the host, explained how everything worked and gave us excellent details of restaurants etc. The bed was comfortable, the WiFi was fine. However, we didn't see any staff again so when there was... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
B&B Panorama is located in Via Doria 8, a quiet alley in the heart of Old Town, among historical buildings and shopping streets. Strategically located inside the pedestrian area of Alghero, it is a perfect location for business travel, cultural tourism and genuine rest. In addition, our residence is just a few steps away from a large number of restaurants, pubs and bar. The apartment, situated on the top floor of a characteristic building, has been completely refurbished with new decor and attention to details, in order to preserve the typical features of the 18th century architecture. Black slate steps, exposed roof beams and sandstone walls will catch your eye as soon as you get inside the building. The bed and breakfast is laid out in two levels and composed of three bedrooms, a living room and two panoramic terraces. The en-suite bedrooms, overlooking the sea and Old Town, can comfortably accommodate two persons, with the possibility of adding a third bed or a cradle upon request. Breakfast buffet is served in the living room where you can find a coffee corner, fresh fruit, Sardinian and Italian traditional sweets to be consumed enjoying a wonderful sea-view. Drinking water filtered by a reverse osmosis system is also available to all guests. The panoramic terraces will allow you to admire the view of the entire Alghero Bay and Old Town's colored roofs, spending unforgettable moments with your love, your friends or even alone, sipping some wine and enjoying the amazing sunsets over the sea. ... more   less
