We stayed here one night on our trip through Puglia and were delighted to see how this hotel was architectural beautiful. Location: A bit off the beaten track. Facility: Beautiful architecture, but very spread out. There is a spa, but we weren’t able to schedule a massage because everything was booked by non hotel guests. Room: Very large and spacious in a ultra modern taste. Bathroom was good with a huge double headed shower, but we found it difficult to figure out what controlled what. We were also confused by the HVAC because there was a control panel on the wall that didn’t work. It wasn’t until I discovered the the remote that I was able to control the heat. Food: We ate dinner at the restaurant and was very disappointed by the food and service. There was a large group having dinner and it appeared we were being forced through the meal to get us out before large group showed up. Service: overall the front desk service was very good, but the lack of service in the restaurant and spa was below par. While this hotel bills itself as a spa, it operates more like a group hotel.…
A quiet and relaxing stay. Everything is great starting from reception, food, spa and room. Gluten free and lactose free is purpose on breakfast and during the day. Amazing wellness Great place if you want to rest. All the dishes are refined
Although this is an historical site, the employees are only employeer and not interested in more. The relay is luxurious and has everything. Spa, wellness, restaurant, and correct service. The food is splendid. Thé environment also. It is a Pearl. Too bad that my quest for the historical information has not been fulfilled
We were invited for a 2 night wedding (and therefore I can't comment about the price). The place is most elegant and beautifully restored and preserved. The room is huge! it is remote enough from the city and quite.
Lovely setting in an old monastery Not as quiet as I would have liked. Hotel is used for various functions with very noisy guests Add it that dogs that bark all night Hotel staff for the most part very friendly Breakfast good and plentiful Must have a car
My wife and me stayed at Histo as a “couples retreat” and we could not be happier with the service, the place and its surroundings. From Clara at the restaurant to the front desk staff and everyone we have met the service is impeccable and friendly. And the Masseria is one of the most gorgeous places we have ever stayed in Europe! What an amazing and beautiful place. I strongly recommend this place for couples or even families, as next time we will bring our little one
The mistakes: our room did not have electricity on arrival, our toilet did not stop flushing, the AC didn’t work at all, there is a total lack of maintenance and the food at lunch was the absolute worst (we had a raw burger 3 times, nothing was freshly made)!!! Please do not waiste your money here. This hotel is not worth 5 stars. Btw: Carla is the only one who knows what she did in that hotel, you deserve a raise!
For 290€ you would expect hot water in the shower, a plug to use the hairdryer in the bath, chairs on the balcony for the sunset and the cleaning equipment not to be left in the pool. Their dogs barked during the night and the weed trimmer chose our window to start his work at 7:00 am. We reserved an Executive room for 2 nights. We checked out after the 1st night. Nearly everything was dissatisfactory. The facility is lovely with its own deconsecrated Norman church. However the reception staff while all smiles were cold and not customer friendly. The restaurant was nice but again cold. The menu does not change. If you are there more than 1 night, you are faced with the same limited menu and there are no close alternatives. We asked to speak with the manager, but still not reply.…
This is an amazing property the owner himself hands on with his project and motivating entire team to deliver the best service. The team is very experienced from GM to HK staff and dedicated to please their guest. The cuisine and service is great...Every time when I arrive here even with stressful meetings their hospitality cures all my stress. I hope one day I can have the time to come here for holiday...
This is a lovely well run hotel with attentive staff and a great restaurant. We stayed there 3 nights and it was perfect and the room big and comfortable. The pool and pool staff were great. I particularly praise the reception staff who were lovely and knowledgeable. They booked a great sightseeing trip for me and even sorted out paying a parking ticket I unfortunately received due to my poor language skills.
