The bed and breakfast Manzoni provides great value for your business. Stayed here for 2 weeks between the end of December and the beginning of January. The building is very well maintained and looks restructured in the recent past. Rooms are nice and well furnished, including TV and air-conditioning. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Location is very good, being in the centre of the city, close to the train station and the central Boulevard. Lots of restaurants and shops around. Suggested for your stay in Brindisi.
A lovely B&B, with private "suites" (bedroom and private bathroom), in an apartment block. Easy to find, only a few minutes' walk from Brindisi station (where the airport bus drops you). Streets are quiet at night, There are a number of restaurants a short walk away, and the location is great for travel connections. Bedrooms are spacious and in excellent condition. Beds are comfortable. There's ample hot water. Breakfasts are more than you might expect in Italy - juice, coffee, toast and pastries, as you would find in someone's home. Antonio and Teresa are welcoming hosts, whose friendliness could not have been better - I feel I made new friends. Antonio has English. If the door is closed on arrival, look for the bell on the right. Your keys will allow you to come and go as you please, which is great for early-morning getaways or late returns - none of this is a problem. Highly recommended. I wouldn't look anywhere else if I returned to Brindisi.…
I went to this hostel during a cultural exchange program with other 30 foreigner people. Except for a very, very bad episode with the woman who screamed at us and offended some foreigners of the group (they couldn't speak Italian) just because we were on the roof of the B&B, I think this hostel is ok, both for location and for the other owners, who were polite and friendly with us. The breakfast is very, very poor, and we always had to ask for spoons and stuff, since only 10 people can sit on the table, so we had to wait our turn etc. Anyway, the location is ok, the building is nice and pretty new, and if it were allowed to use the kitchen, people can have everything on their little but comfortable apartment.
I spent one week in almost a brand new rooms. Mr Angelo and his Son were perfect hosts, kind, professional, honest and very helpfull in any situation. Compering with rooms in Barsoti hotel, or Colona or any other of that kind, Manzoni BB are giving you a chance to stay in a very clean and comfort rooms, with all accessories which everyone need.
In our search for budget b&b in Brindisi after a few disappointments, we found this Manzoni. Reception is spotless and it looks like a cool hotel. Great the lift which takes you to all floors. Owners are nice and discreet. Rooms are also spotless. We will recommend!
