I never wrote a negative review regarding hotels / guest house. But this one is extremly exagerating!! 1) Not enough hot water for all of the residents, you must compete with others who will reach some hot water first! 2) We cant use the A/c's heater because it cuts out the electricity due to overloading. The funny thing is that the electricity box is in room 1 and the receptionist told me to go myself knock room 1 and ask them to switch on the electricity. 3) The cleaner is very rude she does not even knock on the foor to enter the room. I was still in bed when she entered! 4) Receptionist told me to cancel my booking on my booking.com. Now i realize why! HORRIFIC!
They have different apartments in the area not all under the same address. Ee ewre here 2 years ago and thought we can stay for 1 night as the rooms we knew were ok. We got a “room” in different apartment though on the 1st floor right of a building on a busy street. It was very noisy and the room looked like a prison cell. Everything dirty and extremely used. Plus the toom only had space for a bed and a dirty table. Nothing else fit. There were no pictures on booking with this room. I asked them to give us one of the rooms we booked based on the info on booking. They refused so i asked the money back. Their attitude wasn’t at all customer oriented. They gave me the money but i had to cancel the reservation on booking first. This made it impossible to write a review. I did not take pictures as i was in a hurry to get out but i dont recomend it. Better pay 10 euros exta and go to the next hostel. …
Honestly, this was one of the worst places I’ve ever been. Shower moldy, the room was a living room in a flat in a really run-down building. Room had just a glass door and not even a bed but a broken couch with a really bad mattress. Once we received the keys we couldn’t reach anybody to address the issues. Left after one night even though we paid for two. Unacceptable accommodation where nobody should spend a night.
The accommodation was Average. It's in a building on one of the floors with other rooms too. We stayed 2 nights there because it's very close to Bari train station (as we were visiting other towns in Puglia) & was the cheapest option at time with breakfast from the cafe just next to the building's entrance.
We flew into Bari and then went on to Naples straight away but booked this place for our last night before flying home. It is great value for money, extremly clean, bright and spacious. There are a number of hairdryers and fridges for guests to use. The wifi seems to only work in the communal areas and not in the room though,. When we checked in we were given a voucher to use in the cafe next door in the morning, you can use it for a coffee and a pastry It isnt the easiest to find as like most hostels in Italy it is an apartment building so I would advise checking all the apartment building buzzers if the map says you are near as there doesnt tend to be signs in Italy. It is walking distance from the train station which is great if you are looking to travel about and also for the airport. There is also a bus station near for a cheaper travel option. It is about 9euros to Naples on the bus for example. The main town and Piazza is within walking distance with a selection of restuarants and bars. The rooms are clean and there are plenty of bathrooms for everyone, also kept very clean. The beds are not the most comfortable but are more than suitable, especially for the price. The hostel is very spacious with high cellings so it echos, one guys phone was going off all night which was annoying but once asleep it didnt bother us. Another room had music on which we could hear across the builfing but it was switched off early and didnt bother us, some may find this annoying though, so be aware it echos. Apart from that we didnt even notice anyone else was there, even though it was fully booked. It is great value and I would stay again for sure if in the area.…
Decent accommodation for the price. It is clean, bright and only a 5 minute walk from the train station. We also got a voucher for breakfast and all for only €10 each. Plenty of bathrooms and rooms have balconies. The manager was very friendly. I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews, this is a guest house not a hotel and it is a great price for what you get. If you’re travelling on a budget I would definitely recommend here. The reason I didn’t rate it excellent is because it could do with some TLC in parts of it and some of the other guests were quite noisy.
The place was less expensive than the others and the conditions were very good. It was clean, quiet and nice, extremely close to the train station, the staff was friendly, they offered also free breakfast! Shortly, we enjoyed this accommodation and had a good time in Bari. I would recommend it, quality-price is a good deal.
This place was just horrible. Nothing like in the pictures - the room was messy, the walls were dirty, so was the bed linen. There were 3 bathrooms for the whole apartment (around 8 rooms I think) - 2 of them were usable, the other one looked like it hasn’t been cleaned for a while. We couldn’t expect much for that price, but lack of heating in January was just too much. It was around 10 degrees Celsius in the room (it was even less than the temperature outside), we had to sleep in our jackets, that was just insane. Definitely not recommended!!!
It was ok for the price. We were in another building near by the address they have. We had room in 2 bedroom appartment with a shared bathroom, balcony and no kitchen. In our room there was only a pull-out sofa with enough sleepeng space for two, a table with 2 chairs and a little bedside tables at the both sides of the "bed" and a electrical heater as the room was quite cold without it . Bathroom was clean and fine. They provide soap, towels and a hairdryer. View from balcony was to the street and the walls where so thin that we could hear everything happening on the street. One thing missing for me was hot water for tea as it is winter and after a day outside it would be nice to drink something hot. We got cupons for breakfast at the caffe near by where we could get croissant and a coffe. We lived on the #3rd floor and owner showed us the elevator, but after getting an error one time when it stopped little bit abowe our floor and slowly slowly moved up untill stopped at the next floor we where using stairs for the rest of the stay.…
We only stayed here for one night but we were quite disappointed. The things in the apartment are old and smelly, including the towels we were provided with :( the breakfast they say it's included consists of one croissant and one espresso. You are not even able to choose another type of coffee.
