Home grown delicious food prepared with love, served at a communal table offering a sense of community and an opportunity to meet other travelers. Rooms are comfortable and unique with original details.

The minute you arrive at Serragambetta, you will feel at home. It is not fancy or luxurious -- just comfortable, warm, inviting, and relaxing. Domenico is the perfect host, and will do anything necessary to make your stay enjoyable. The fantastic (and organic) food, lovely pool, and beautiful "secret garden" (in the words of my 9-yr old daughter) are just...

Probably the clearest indication of the worth of this accommodation was the number of people who were returning for at least the 10th time. There was even one person greeted warmly who had first stayed more than 50 years before. Serragambetta started over 150 years ago as a family, summer residence. It is a working, "biologico" (organic) farm and much...

If you are looking for the ideal combination of culture and nature and a strong sense of home feeling you cannot miss Serragambetta! Beautiful places like Monopoli, Polignano and Alberobello are very close. And when you will come back home after an entire day spent amongst olive trees and astonishingly white small towns, you will find a warm welcome, spontaneous...

Stayed there for a week in August. Meant to have a few day trips to the surrounding, but the children kept suggesting that we go to the pool instead. Fine pool, but I feel a little dissatisfied at not having visited Lecce. The rooms differ in size, type and quality. We got a different one than planned: Domenico (the host)...

A very great hospitality by Domenico and his team, really Italian atmosphere of warm people. Big opportunities to meet other people, really international crew. Very good swimming pool, one of the best. We had room in Masseria San Pietro, one mile from Serragambetta, lovely appartment. Our daily trip for breakfast and swimmingpool was no problem. The breakfast can better, a...

Family with teenager and two kids visited for the weekend. Great location to explore the many sights in the area but we enjoyed the farm (make that pool for the kids) so much that we didn't see everything we planned. Dominico has a wonderful, family friendly farm to visit. Our stay included a nice breakfast with many fresh fruits and...

Myself, my husband and daughter had a fantastic stay with Domenico and family (Angela, Gina etc also..so sorry if I have forgotten anyone) in September 2014. From the moment we arrived we were made so welcome, Domenico is a wonderful host and goes above and beyond to help his guests. We really enjoyed the food, very fresh and tasty and...

We had a wonderful stay here. The host, Domenico, couldn't have been more gracious. This applies to the staff, too. Angela is a great chef. Breakfast is much better than breakfasts at other hotels. It's not just a place to stay. You interact and develop close relationships with the other guests, mostly Europeans, some with children. It feels like family....

Domenico and his family are fantastic characters and great hosts. We stayed in the original homestead, which the rooms (like Domenico!) are full of character and years worth of family trinkets. I liked that, but there are other, newer rooms in a separate building which may be more up your alley. I was lucky to spend an afternoon with Angela...

“Bosco or Sotto Bosco, both fantastic.”

“Each room is unique; we were in "la CameraSud" which has a small balcony overlooking the courtyard and olive groves beyond. It was very comfortable.”

“If you have a family with small children, Stalla is the best option because you are on the ground level and have a large play area. If you want a quieter location in the woods, choose Bosco or Sotto Bosco. If you have a large party (3-7), Terrazzo has 3 connecting rooms and plenty of space. All the rooms are unique and beautiful and many have little kitchenettes too. Email Domenico with your needs and he will help you select the best room for you!”
