I’m currently staying in the hotel and looking for an alternative for tomorrow night even if I lose my money here. Pros: We have the panorama room and it has a good view of the ocean (though across a busy street) and decent soundproofing from the traffic below. Cons: The room is tiny and cheaply appointed. Towels and robes are threadbare, shower stall has mildew and hair in it, not even enough water pressure to wash my hair, the water closet walls are dirty, toiletry products are half used. Mirror is also dirty and a cobweb is hanging from the ceiling. The ‘gym’ is pathetic; an old, home style stairstepper and an ancient treadmill. Definitely no Covid precautions with cleaning or mask wearing. I don’t understand how this hotel can have such a high rating, it is a huge disappointment.…
The main advantage of the hotel is definitely the view! When you live on the top floor you have a panoramic view for the city and the coast! Second advantage is breakfast buffet. Fresh buratta, big selection for bread, cheese and vegetables. Amazing Italian coffee! Outdoor pool on the rooftop is also a nice idea (although it’s small). Rooms are clean and spacious - not my style of design but it’s a personal thing. Definitely choose this hotel while going to Bari - mainly because of the location. Other “premium” hotels are located in front of a really crappy beach!
This hotel must disclose that your room has a view of a wall!! The attraction of this hotel is the roof top restaurant and spectacular view So getting the complete opposite was so infuriating. And others were also complaining at front desk regarding the same thing
Ordered room service and staff extremely rude on the phone and not train how to converse or take a room service order and also on delivery. Staff answered the phone as “ what do you want”. The hotel needs major refurbishment throughout and bedroom in very poor condition. Mould in bathroom, plastic cups in bathrooms, blood stain on pillows, wallpaper looks tired and dirty throughout, balcony dirty, bedside table broken and the amenities offered looks like a 3 star hotel. No USB socket to charge phone. Towels in bathrooms feels like an iron sheet. Booked a 3 nights stay and left after 1 night. Staff at reception were kind professional, which was only positive for me.
Loved having a cocktail and a beautiful platter of appetizers. Our hotel concierge called and made the reservation. We were there at 6:30 which meant the sun was still strong. My recommendation would be to go later. And yet it was wonderful. It is the only rooftop bar in Bari from what our concierge told us. In the photo from the street it is the rounded building in the distance. Food was delicious.
My wife and I stayed at the hotel for one night before joining a tour of the area. The hotel is well located right next to the ocean and many other sites are within walking distance. The balcony had a great view of the water but the room we had was little run down and basic with a strange decorating style to it. It could definitely use a refresh in my opinion.
The location is perfect to its proximity to old town Bari as well as great sea views. As mentioned in other rooms, the rooms have funky color scheme and design. The breakfast had lots of good cold and hot items. Unfortunately in April, the pool was not open yet.
I think that I may have reviewed this hotel previously and had mixed feelings. But with my repeat visit I was impressed. The location is perfect for Bari - on the sea front. If you pay top dollar you might opt for a room with a view but frankly is it worth it> The rooftop bar has all the view that you need. The rooms are simple with a funky colour scheme and are well appointed. Just 2 issues 1. They never answer the phone if you call - try it when trying to get in touch over any issue. 2. this is not a place to come to in a car - parking is awkward and expensive.
No staff and poor service. Only one waiter at breakfast and you had to search for him in the kitchen for a cup of coffee! Same at the lobby bar: For a drink, for which you would pay 25 euro, they had to go an search for the barman. Bar abandoned the whole day. Room? OK. Particularly if you like to drink your water in paper cups! Even the front desk ladies would disappear in the room behind the desk (much more comfortable of course), looking from the half-open door if there is a client at the desk so that they could come out. Overall, I could hardly find some elements that would make this a 5-star hotel.
Stayed here for 2 nights during our Globus tour. The hotel is located right across from the water and the 6th floor restaurant has a lovely view too. You can walk down the promenade to town but it doesn't take about 10-15 minutes. We had rooms at the end of the hall so it was quiet. The beds were still not big but much bigger than the tiny beds in some European hotels and comfortable. We did have an issue with the shower having no door so the bathroom flooded every time it was used. My friend's room did have shower door so not sure why ours didn't. The breakfast was pretty sad but the included tour dinner we had was pretty good. Since the stay was part of a tour I don't know how much the hotel costs or if there are better options.
