We used the Hotel Victoria as a base for our visit to the Veneto Region. Our room was very good and breakfast was fine with a good selection at the buffet.
Although the Hotel is further outside the centre of Vicenza than we first thought,...More
Visited for a night before leaving to see another part of Italy. I had intended to stay for a week upon my return, but rebooked elsewhere.

We got the family apartment just above the entry to the pool (longer term apartment). It had a kitchenette (pots/pans/utensils, plates, cups, etc), small dorm sized fridge with freezer, 2 flat screen tv's with cable, fold out couch, large dresser in the livingroom, large schrunk...More
Stayed 6 nights (early June 2015) while exploring surrounding area. Venice is already well documented and easy to visit by train from Vicenza. Less well documented are Vicenza, Padua and the surrounding areas which are well worthy of visiting.

I have to say reading some of the reviews that my stay at this hotel was nowhere near as bad as some. I had a very modern spacious room on the 3rd floor (room 314). I could not fault it. There are other rooms that...More

We are staying with you from Friday May 15th till Sunday May 18th. We will be driving from Venice to Vicenza. Can you give us the names and addresses of a couple of Prosecco wineries that we could stop at on the way to your hotel. We are planning on taking a cooking class in the area. We have heard of Cooking with Lucas and Isa Cook. Can you recommend either of these chefs or someone else?
We look forward to hearing from you.

Hello! I'm not the owner of the hotel but I live in the city of the hotel you will be staying in. I'm from Chicago. I would love to give you a hand In both areas. I've never heard of those chefs but there is an excellent internationally acclaimed Italian chef who speaks perfect English who offers the best cooking classes, as well as private in the area. The ristorante is called Trattoria D'Angelo in piovene Rochette. Look them up! They are excellent. Yes, there are wineries but the best are in the Valdobbiadene area, about 30 min from Venice. A friend of mine organizes day wine tours snd tastings!
