This hotel is in a lovely location in a city that is pleasant to spend time walking around in. The gardens are pretty and the rooms comfortable but Spartan. The continental breakfast is tasty but lacking in fresh fruit and protein options. The staff is pleasant and wifi in the public areas is satisfied satisfactory.

It's half way up Monte Berico with great views over the city. The walk down to the centre is mostly pedestrianised and can go through a nice park, but takes a good 15 minutes. This is an old convent so the style is pleasing but simple. Comfy bed and a good strong shower. No WiFi provided which seems a bit...

Dear Sirs, many thanks for your comment. We're glad you appreciated the comfort of our beds and showers. Our rooms are simple but cosy and we do our best to assure our guests a pleasant stay surrounded by greenery and quietness. This albergo is a little difficult to find if you are arriving by bike as we were! It's well worth the climb up the hill. It's in a beautiful peaceful location and our room (No 28) overlooked Vicenza. The staff are very welcoming and look after their guests well. Wifi is available only in the public areas. The bedroom and...

This former monastery is half-way up Monte Berico, overlooking Vicenza. It is an excellent value if you have a car. Otherwise you would take a short taxi ride from the train station and get a bus ticket at the coffee shop at the top of the hill. Vicenza is not an easy town to drive and we figured out how...

The former abbey is charming with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. The staff was most welcoming and helpful in suggesting restaurants. The rooms are spartan but comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was big enough and well ventilated. Breakfast was abundant and good. The small bar was a great place to relax and even eat take in food....

A wonderfully-situated hotel on Monte Berico overlooking Vicenza. The place has a monastic feel about it - not surprising, as it was indeed a monastery (or nunnery) and we had the feeling that it was still associated with the church (crucifixes and religious imagery abounded!) The rooms have the feel of priestly accommodation : very Spartan, with no softening touches...

Simply furnished hotel, located on Mount Berico outside the town. Beautiful location with lovely views of the town. Has a look and feel of a monastery about it. Rooms are basic but are en suite and have air conditioning (no TV). There is a small bar. The near-by restaurant was closed so we opted for a taxi into Vicenza rather...

I stayed one night here. It wasn’t my choice, but the choice of a conference where I was speaking. My guess is that it isn’t in most guidebooks, though I haven’t checked. It is apparently a converted monastery, close to, and perhaps associated with, the church of Santa Maria on Monte Berico just outside Vicenza. It’s a modest two star...

We came across this hotel after being let down with our booked B&B. The road on which the hotel is situated takes you to a viewing spot overlooking to whole of Vicenza and the mountains. When you spot the hotel entrance and drive in you will find a spacious car park and a pretty front garden. The hotel is, so...
