We spent 2 weeks at the property as the season was turning to Autumn and during the 2020 covid restrictions. The property was cleaned thoroughly and the covid protection measures the team had put in place made you feel safe and secure. The property is located in the hills overlooking the city, so the views and the sunset were spectacular on a daily basis, but it also means there is a steep walk up the hill from the city centre. The real charm about the place is the great team that works there, they were warm, friendly and helpful to all of our requests and went out of their way to look after us.
We visited this hotel for a lovely short weekend during the COVID-19 period. We were naturally nervous about travelling but found the airports in London and Verona very quiet. I e mailed several hotels but this one not only came back the quickest but the e mail was so unbelievably friendly and customer centric they just had to have my business. In the lead up to the stay I asked the hotel for restaurant recommendations and they are kind enough to book the ones I selected. We were greeted by a private limousine driver at Verona Airport that the hotel had arranged for me (€60 each way) and room the 35 minute drive through Verona. The property is not in the city centre! If you want a city centre hotel this one probably isn’t for you unless you want to rely on taxi’s. It’s on a hillside looking over the beautiful city and you’ll see the views from my balcony. Just stunning! We booked their nicest room, which was the Luxury Suite. It had two large bathrooms and this beautiful balcony shown in the photo. The breakfast were lovely. Lovely buffet, fresh juice bought to your table, choice of coffees and freshly cooked eggs. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotels elevated position means a €11 taxi to the centre or a 30 minute walk. The walk downhill is very pleasant but perhaps up is not for the faint hearted. We did it once and got taxi’s on the 2 other occasions. The hotel has its own swimming pool at the back of the hotel. It’s beautiful with lovely sun loungers and a downstairs WC. If you want a drink or some food you just ring on the phone and hay presto, it arrives. The hotel only had 10 rooms so you feel it’s like your own, very grand house. It really is beautiful.as for COVID control, don’t worry; they have everything absolutely under control. I can’t recommend this place enough. If I could give it 11 out of 10 I would. Everyone is lovely and so accommodating. We will return. …
We stayed 4 nights and it was absolutely perfect! It’s a 15 min stroll in to the old city. But it’s a very pleasant quiet downhill wander. Past an amazing gelato shop too! The hotel is stunning. With its view over the city and its terrace. For us the perfect mix of relaxing by the lovely pool with lunch then exploring the city in afternoon and eve ( and what a terrific fun city Verona is!). The walk back is uphill but is quiet and safe. Above all the team there are so lovely. All really friendly and helpful. Recommended amazing places for dinner each night. We will certainly be back. Loved it!
The views over Verona are amazing the hotel and grounds are very well kept. You can tell they have spent a lot of money on renovations. They have a large modern pool at the back which is in the sun all day long. The staff are very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to help. Nicola, was very helpful and the boss Antonio. I loved it and will be going back soon. My only issue, which was not the hotels fault is the loud and inconsiderate family on facetime at the pool and screaming kids, while everyone else is clearly trying to relax in the beautiful surroundings. But thats not the hotels fault.
We recently spent a wonderful night at this hotel. We arrived late afternoon on a super hot day and promptly changed and went to the pool. A stunning setting overlooking the city, pool was clean and cool and even had jets. we ordered drinks and had an amazingly relaxed time before going into town for dinner. We came promptly back from dinner just to go back to the pool! Next morning we went to breakfast downstairs to what was by far the best breakfast we had in our two weeks in Italy. A full buffet plus made to order eggs and bacon, everything was delicious. We wish we had stayed longer but hope to come back again soon!
