We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Baietta. The property is beautiful and the owners are really nice! The room had a/c and the shower was build into the room! Only the toilet was seperated with a door. It was amazing! The breakfast was delicious! It didn't take much time to drive to the center if Verona!
Everything was top notch. Only stayed one night but wished we had booked more. We will definitely return. From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed with warm hospitality. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous and the grounds immaculate. The hosts were very helpful and Verona was gorgeous. Two of us stayed in a double room and there was more than enough space and plenty of attention to detail. Loved it! NOTE - This is not near the older part of town - it actually sits a quick drive away (not too far at all but definitely not walkable) in a more commercial area. Once you are on the property though, you step back into the charm of Italy
Very friendly and cozy place. Our two rooms were both nice and came with a very nice bathroom and a closet together with a fridge and all that. Comfy beds and friendly staff that were very helpful with stuff. Only downside is that the instructions regarding towel usage was a bit unclear that led to a misunderstanding and the breakfast is not very stocked before 8:30 or so. Very well recommended though.
We stayed for five days in this B&B on the outskirts of Verona. The B&B has recently been created in part of a most impressive mansion located just outside the tangenciale expressway that circles Verona, and the conversion work has been done to a high standard. Despite the close proximity of the busy road, and of Verona's airport, our room was very quiet. Aeroplane noise was never an issue. The room was large, fully equipped and very comfortable, and held a double bed-settee as well as the main double bed. Our bed and pillows were both excellent. The attached bathroom was also large- in addition to an excellent shower it also held a full-sized bath. Unfortunately the house wifi did not quite reach our room. Breakfast was good, with plenty of variety and a decent fruit bowl. Coffee was also good, made to order by Giarda, the owner's daughter. What we found lacking was what you might call the 'software' of a good B&B. The website, for example, was rudimentary and lacked contact details, arrival advice or images of the property. At the property the local tourist map of the city centre was available, but there was no file or store of detailed information on such matters as where best to park in Verona and how to get there, where else in the locality was worth a visit, and so on. This is important because its location makes Villa Baietta eminently suitable as a base for exploration of the wider region, not simply of Verona. Giarda was pleasant and able to provide some information, but our mutual incomprehension of each other's language made real communication difficult for non-native Italians. In summary we saw this B&B as potentially an excellent, luxurious, place to stay, currently at the 'work in progress' stage…
The Villa is absolutely wonderful. Every single detail is magic like hospitality received. The location is idyllic and just a few minuets from the centre of Verona. If ever I could advice a place in Verona this will be the one. Many thanks to Giada and Miriam....I will come back and will suggest it to friends because you can't come to Verona without staying in Villa Baietta.
