It's beautiful and unusual, dilapidated but charming. Our room had stunning views over the hills and town, we had it all to ourselves, they don't seem to cram travellers together into dorms which is lovely! My one request is that since there is no air con they at least invest in

The hostel itself is huge and old with a charming atmosphere. You have to be home early in the evening and have to leave during the day. Beside this dorms are strictly separated and don't have outlets. the location is great, as well as the staff. I really liked our stay and you

The building is beautiful and the area is nice (I would recommend walking up & exploring the hill the hostel is on). The beds were comfortable and the view from the dorm was beautiful. The breakfast was simple and yummy. The rules were not ideal but the staff was accommodating

"Be a woman, the dorms are a fraction of the size"
"Dorm D didnt have working plug sockets :("
"Private family rooms in garden are great and only a little more expensive."
"Choose a bunk bed away from the huge night light if you like sleeping in absolute darkness."
"Sorry nil pool that was a typo. For the benefit of having access to your room throughout the day choose a family room as situated at rear of gardens and have table and chairs outside for your use as well as some sensible person has tired a line from the trees to hang your washing in the fresh air to dry. Although if downstairs you will have upstairs thumping away on the metal treads to their accommodation."
