It was the best stay in my entire Italy trip. The gorgeous room, beautiful decor, street view from the balcony, spacey room and bathtub, kind and generous hospitality by staff, and all were perfect. What to mention is breakfast. You have to be very hungry for the breakfast otherwise you will regret in the morning when you arrive in the...

This is a very romantic hotel and at Christmas I would say you could not find a more beautiful place in the world than Verona. However, even if you are travelling on you own as I was, for work, you will not be made to feel out of place. The staff at reception could not have been friendlier or more...

For the life of me I cannot figure out why this hotel is not more highly rated. The rooms are all unique and sumptuous. The common areas are accommodating - six of us enjoyed cocktails before dinner in a very pleasant sitting area. Breakfast was good each morning with an ample selection. The location is perfect. The price...perhaps on the...

As my favourite place to stay was fully booked, I stayed at Gabbia d'Oro. The location is truly great and I love palazzos and history - there was an abundance of both. However, it did strike me as strange that each member of the staff seems to have multiple roles depending on the time of the day or night. Them...

Had a great time here. The hotel is theatrical and is in the best location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend. Although the decor and furniture is not to everyone's taste it suited the historic building and was kept very clean.

This is a gorgeous little hotel by the main piazza in a prominent part of Centro Storico. Breakfast was excellent, valet service efficient, room quiet and well appointed, breakfast plentiful with quality selections. I am a bit surprised by the negative reviews, this is a boutique, historic palazzo converted to a 27 room hotel, not a purpose built Hilton or...

This is hotel-as-theatre. Even its name suggests as much. If you accept that, then you'll love it. If you're bothered by a profusion of props (although some of them are valuable antique ones), don't stay here. Is the hotel clean? Who knows? When you have so many carpets and cushions and what-not, it will always feel dusty even if it's...

I go there twice a year. This hotel is the most authentic in the city. The building is ancient, in the historic center, staff is adorable. The breakfast is delicious and 100% homemade, rooms are clean and in a really preserved italian style. There are so many details that you will appreciate, the decor is very tasteful, there is a...

This is a small boutique hotel dated back to the 16th century with excellent location. It is very interesting, the decoration is very nice, the book collection is very interesting. Staff were friendly and attentive. Very cozy lobby to spend the night in. Although I have many remarks but I would like to come back and enjoy it for a...
