Hotel Bologna is located in the heart of Verona, just 50 meters from the Arena. Recently refurbished in a classic international, the hotel is characterized by a soft and cozy. All rooms are equipped with free wifi. There is also a car valet services running on payment and freebicycle rental. Sweet and savory buffet breakfast to give you the good morning.
The Hotel Bologna, a slightly old–fashioned Hotel, is the perfect stay if you have tickets at the Arena di Verona. I stayed there two nights with my siblings, to see the Aida. The Hotel, comfortable and clean, is located on a little side road, away from the Arena and its confusion, but close enough to be there in 2 minutes. It is very central. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a leak in our room during a heavy rain and staff was immediately sent up to clean up and fix the problem. The room (I believe, 336), especially with 3 occupants, are not very big, but the beds are very comfortable. The rooms’ 80ies furnishing gives them a slighthly “rétro” look. The bathroom is small, but has nevertheless a good (triangular) shower. It has also a green light, to keep on at…

Good for value. Perfect location. Very strong shower and very good aircons. Has lift to upper floors. We were given a room at the top. Moderately sized but our two big suitcases took up quite a bit of space. The location is perfect. It’s a one minute walk to the main shopping street but quiet at night. The breakfast offered a wide range of food. The waiting staff were very friendly.

We stayed one night in this hotel. We went to Verona to see an Opera and this hotel is right around the corner from the Arena where the Opera takes place (it is also in the heart of a great piazza/area of Verona). The location was great for us for seeing the opera and for exploring Verona. The service at the hotel was great, the staff helped us with recommendations to places to go for meals, suggestions for when to arrive at the Area for the opera and they very helpful keeping track of our bags the day we checked out (and wanted to explore more before loading them into our car). The rooms were nice (bed was comfy), but they are a bit beat up (e.g. chips/marks in paint on walls) and some of the groat in the shower was gross (looked moldy). The room and bathroom were…

Locating the hotel by car is not for the faint hearted. However, once arrived the reception is excellent and the booking-in process is very simple. The rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds. The location is excellent being within a minute's walk of the arena and piazza as well as all the other attractions of Verona. The reception staff were extremely helpful and dealt with an unexpected problem caused by a number of downpours during our stay. A small amount of rainwater came through our ceiling. We were quickly offered another room and they assisted with the move. On departure we were given a discount and a small gift which was a nice gesture considering the matter caused very little inconvenience.

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst attending a show at the Arena. Lovely hotel, gorgeous decoration and the most amazing location. The hotel is 50 metres from the Arena, so absolutely perfect for attending a concert there. The staff were very good and helpful. The rooms were immaculately clean and had excellent air conditioning. Right in the heart of Verona and loads of restaurants right on the door step. I can not recommend this hotel enough!!!

The location is so good that we used our room loo during the breaks at the two operas we saw. Couldn't be closer. Clean and comfortable and our upgrade to have a Juliet balcony facing the square was worth it. Shower could have been a bit larger. definitely one person only who dosen't turn around. BMI over 25 you will have a squeeze. Breakfast could be more inspiring as didn't change over the 5 days. Croissants always sugary and no smoked salmon a favourite of mine.

We really enjoyed our return to this Hotel. We visited some years ago and wanted to return. The staff are helpful, the rooms very comfortable and clean. Excellent WiFi and centrally locates. 15 minute walk to the leaning tower. The breakfast is also varied and plentiful.

Perfect location for Arena, but difficult to find way to drive in, need a little bit time to figure out road. Staffs are nice and friendly. They speak good English. Room is quite small, but enough for short stay. Breakfast buffet is also nice and good choices.

Located in the old city steps from the Colosseum, the location can't be beat, and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. It can get a little noisy if there's a concert in the "arena," and the charming, quaint, and ancient wine bar across the street is a mixed blessing - it's a fantastic place (open since 1930) but people congregate outside at night, adding to the potential noise. Still, for the price, and compared to the several other hotels I've staid at in Verona (cheap and horrible, or massively overpriced), this is a great choice.

I don't think you can find a more lovely hotel in Verona in a more perfect location! It is right around the corner from the main pedestrian street--full of shopping--and the arena --with its large square full of restaurants. The hotel is quite lovely and our room for the 3 of us was very spacious! The folks at the front desk were also very friendly and pleasant--wonderful to chat with. You can walk the entire city easily from this location. Breakfast is in a smallish room, but very plentiful and delicious!
