This is the third time I am back to this hotel. Very clean and very helpful staff. Close to the university where I work, but more importantly the only hotel in town with a pool and relaxation part. OK breakfast. My only complaint is that the beds are very firm, but that's true of all beds in the Italian hotells... More

This location is marvelous, the accomodations a delight, but the BEST part is ANTONELLA, the lady at the front desk who will make your stay anything you ask for , her choices are JUST RIGHT and she marks your easy walk to them on a map. Streets are brightly lit at all hours and safe if you're sensible! A great... More

This hotel was a great find within verona. Went over to continue planning my wedding. It is very centrally located which is great for walking to attractions such as the juilet balcony, and the different piazza. However if you want to get out of town it takes the taxi some time to navigate the small streets. Lovely staff, very accommodating.... More

A great high end hotel at the heart of the city. I was in it only 1 night but would happily return. check in very efficient with a warm welcome. The room was very nice with 'accurate' AC (i.e. you can really control the temperature). Wi-fi strong and functioning. Breakfast varied and above average for Italy. The only watch out... More

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Antica Porta Leona for 2 nights in July 2015 on vacation. It was our first time in Verona and the location of this hotel was perfect--steps from Juliet's balcony, innumerable restaurants, shopping and only a 10 minute walk from the amphitheater where we saw an opera. The staff was friendly, facilities clean and... More

Beautiful hotel, in a perfect location. We stayed in July in the midst of a heat wave, but the room was always cool & comfortable. I had a horrible cold whilst we were staying & without being asked tissues & an extra pillow were placed in our room for me, so thoughtful. The room was beautifully decorated, & the shower... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in room 103 the Traviata suite which had a balcony looking towards one of the main pedestrian streets. The hotel location is excellent for visiting the city and close to many restaurants. The staff were great and very helpful especially for restaurant recommendations and general advice. The hotel decor... More

We spent a most enjoyable week here in mid June and would not hesitate to recommend or return. Our junior suite was very spacious and comfortable with a lovely ensuite complete with spa bath. All the staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. It is right in the heart... More

The location is great for accessing the major sites in Verona. The hotel is European tight and small and not quite as charming as it could be. The breakfast is not very good compared to others we've had - coffee was horrible. We upgraded to a junior suite and it was dark and not well thought-out in design or concept.... More

I cannot emphasise this fantastic hotel, which was perfectly situated for seeing all of Verona, had incredibly friendly staff, clean and modern rooms and a good nights sleep. The staff could not be more more helpful, and went out of their way to assist us with every request. There was plentiful food available in the breakfast, and coffee was on... More
