We visited Verona for a city break to see Verona, visit Lake Garda and Venice and to see the opera in the Verona Arena. We chose the Albergo Mezzanti on via Mezzanti for its location and trip advisor reviews. From booking the hotel to departing the communication, service, help and advice (car hire, train information, car parking, taxis etc) was... More

Everything about Verona enchanted us, and this hotel was an ideal place to see it all. We easily walked to Piazza Dante, Piazza Erbe and our favorite, the plaza by the arena. Like most hotels that are renovations of very old buildings the rooms can be a lot different, so tell the front desk what you need and they will... More

We stayed two nights at the Mazzanti. It is a really nice hotel in a great location. You are just a block away from Piazza Erbe, where there are several great cafes. You can walk to all of the main attractions in 10-15 minutes. It is a pretty basic room, but it was large and everything was clean. My only... More

You couldn't get much more central than the Albergo Mazzanti. It is literally round the corner from the Piazza delle Erbe, in the heart of the historic centre. Within minutes you are at the Arche Scaligere or the house of Juliette. Given how thronged Erbe can be we thought that our room (202) which faced onto the street, might be... More

Stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 nights visiting Verona. Hotel is simple but room has a beautiful rustic charm with its beamed ceilings and pretty furniture. Everything was spotlessly clean. Location was great! Just a street back from Piazza Erbe, no further than 10mins walk from any of the main sights. Breakfast was mostly simple continental choices but perfectly... More

What can I say. This place is spot on! Apart from the location. The staff were so helpful. There was some works being made to the building, that the hotel is part of but this didn't effect our stay. To be honest, you'd never have known. It was so well organised. In order for our stay (and the other guest)... More

This hotel is centrally located in the heart of Verona's lovely historic district. 1 block to restaurants, 2 blocks to Juliet's house. Pedestrian friendly cobblestone streets and quaint alleys, lots of balconys. Rooms were very clean! Large rooms, all amenities, and the staff was always helpful, gracious and spoke English. Breakfast was typical Italian breakfast, plentiful and included in room... More

My wife and I stayed at Mazzanti for five nights recently as a base from which to tour vVerona. The location is excellent, just behind Piazza Erbe, in a quiet side-street. Our room was spacious though the bed was not for those who want medium to soft mattresses. The television included BBC News and CNN. The Wifi worked. The shower... More
