The location is great - short walk from Rialto Bridge and from the main attractions, but the area is not as crowded as around St. Marco square. We loved the breakfast - it's Italian, which means Continental with lots of pastry, which was so good...More
Everything was just...ok. Nothing was inherently good but nothing inherently bad either. The service was non-existent - we inquired about a water taxi one transfer one evening and the response was just "yes, you can arrange it". No offer to help, no details, nothing. Breakfast...More

Excellent buffet breakfast 24 hour reception
Had a fantastic stay would recommend highly and stay again if re visiting
Junior Suite room was beautiful, large bathroom, complimentary bottle of prosecco there when we checked in. Breakfast buffet was the nicest we had in Italy. Staff was very helpful with directions and they let you store luggage after checkout.
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
