In generall, I can say it's a very nice hotel, but to expensive for what they offer. The room is ok, air conditioning working well. The bathromm is too little and old. The towels seemed to be new, but they where from very cheap quality, they where broken just using it. Restuarant and bar, good quality, but very very expensive.... More

Stayed there for a week whilst kayaking with Venice Kayak. Hotel rooms are large, functional with good bathrooms. breakfasts are good continental style. Trips to St Marks square about 10 mins on the Vaporetto which is great fun but remember the boat numbers for getting home! Drinks in the bar are cheap and snacks available at lunchtime, restaurant at night... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your long stay and for your experience kayaking in Venice that is a wonderful way to discover it from the water! Looking forward to welcoming you again in the future! More

This is a fantastic place to stay in Venice, but be sure you know the experience you will be getting! Certosa is quite a ways from San Marco and the other "touristy" spots in Venice (it's about a 20 min vaporetto ride), so if you're someone who doesn't like the idea of learning the public water bus system, likes to... If you like to take the vaporetto, like to be in a quiet place outside the centre, and dont´t need to go to the hotelroom too many times during the day, this is a very good option. The hotel is not in the centre, but it is quite easy to reach by vaporetto from the trainstation or town until 9... More

We stayed for 2 nights in September and were so impressed by the staff and service. We arrived after midnight and were given really clear instructions on how to get there - the night staff were exceptionally accessible at all times, and gave us a great welcome. On departure, we had an early flight to catch and they provided a... More

We stayed at the Venice Certosa Hotel for one night. even though the rooms are a bit small, they are sufficient specially because you stay outside all the time. The terraces are nice and there is always a good atmosphere. One does not feel to be in Venice and that close to Canale Grande. The Island is a paradise we... More

We spent three nights here at the end of July, the hotel is very easy to reach by vaporetto (ACTV) and Alilaguna services (up to midnight, after that time the hotel provides a free shuttle service), I would recommend that you buy your ACTV pass at the airport before arriving at the hotel as you will need to use the... Stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip round northern Italy. Without going into too much detail we arrived without baggage, exhausted and not knowing if our honeymoon was ruined due to aforementioned baggage loss. Staff were quite simply amazing & did everything they could to help. Totally transformed our experience in Venice & ensured all was not lost. Great... More

Nice Hotel with plenty of space (rare for Venice) and also to escape the crowds. You are still able to access the main sights by boat and can be at St. Mark's square in 10-15min. But you can be on your own island later surrounded by space and a future park (under construction). Hotel staff were very friendly and the... More

Certosa Island has no houses. It's a quiet en peaceful island for pleasureboats, a habour and a hotel. It is well connected by public transport (line 4 and 5). So after breakfast you you wait for your next Vaporetto boat and in 10 minutes you are at St Marco square. On your way to Certosa Island you have to give... More
