This summer 2017 was our second stay in this charming, romantic and well located small hotel. Located on the Grand Canal at San Polo area, it is just far enough from the crazy touristic crowds but still quite close to main areas of interest, next...More
We absolutely loved our stay here. Away from all the tourist traps and craziness, Hotel Palazzo manages to maintain the famed secluded romanticism of Venice. Without any doubt, this the place that I will stay when returning.

Breakfast sensational, best pastries I've eaten. Beautiful and Warm service. Stunning views of Grand Canal. Very quiet and serene. Fastidiously clean. Rooms serviced twice per day.
Great trattorias, supermarkets nearby.

The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
