On the banks of Giudecca Island, a thriving artistic centre of Venice, stands a modern Venetian Masterpiece. The Molino Stucky, once a flourishing flourmill, is now internationally recognised as one of Italy’s iconic pieces of industrial architecture. Beautifully restored, it now houses a hotel unlike any other, offering a different view of Venice. A bold statement, with 379 rooms and suites, the hotel manages to balance intimacy with scale. A place of comforting guest bedrooms and unrivalled restaurants, ballrooms and meeting areas. Guests enjoy the best of both worlds. A short, five-minute boat ride from the heart of Venice, Giudecca Island provides peaceful respite from the intensity of the city and is exceptionally well served by easy access to the airport and rail station. If all this isn’t enough then there is the largest spa in Venice, outstanding service, fine dining, rooftop pool and bar with breath-taking views over the city and shuttle service.

Giudecca is a retreat for Venetians away from the crowds. Symbolically, six metal teeth represent Venice’s six sestieri (districts); the seventh, Guidecca, points away from the others – part of Dorsoduro, but separated by the Giudecca Canal. Giudecca evolved from a center of shipyards and factories to a quiet residential area with a sprinkling of restaurants and bars. The majestic harmonious Redentore church stands as thanks for delivering Venice from the plague, hosting an annual heartfelt festival.

The hotel is rather grand and impressive as you pull up. We booked a city view exec room and the view was worth the extra money. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food and drink on exec package is non stop and saved us a few pennies on breakfasts and lunch. There is a free

This was our second time staying at the Molino Stucky; it really is the perfect pre or post cruise hotel when visiting Venice. Its location away from the center of Venice makes the Hilton very convenient for water taxi transfers to/from the Cruise Port (only about a 15 minute

First time staying here. Wow! Would recommend this to everyone. Cant think of one negative comment. Location was away from the hustle and bustle but hotel shuttle was super convenient. Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

From the moment we saw the outline of the hotel in the mist on our arrival via the water taxi - it was the start of an amazing stay. If you can swing the cost of the water taxi - it is the best way to arrive. It took us 15-20 minutes from the train station. We arrived

A lovely hotel, however housekeeping for a 5* is appalling, would leave the change bedsheets sign on the bed for the sheets not to be changed and rooms fairly outdated for the price - however location and general areas lovely . A shame for a Hilton, honestly but then with

How much time does it take to get to the airport from the Hotel? Thanks
We walked from the train station to the ferry station, which I don't highly recommend. Once we got to the ferry's it probably took less than 30 minutes to get to the hotel. Not sure if that's helpful?

Direct, private water taxi from Marco Polo to the Hilton is €120-€130 one way. You don’t need to book in advance - there is a booking office in arrivals (well signposted). There’s also the public water bus - one of the routes goes from the airport to the Hilton for a fraction of the price of a private taxi.

Executive lounge is disappointing at this property. However Diamond status wouldngive you free breakfast which is sensational! It would also allow you a free room upgrade which would mean a canal view - worth it for sure. Transport from airport can be by public transport Alilaguna for about 25 Euro stops directly outside property allow 90 minutes - private transfer can be booked via hotel or directly at airport boat terminal for same price around 140 Euro - 30-40 minutes. Museums depend on your taste but something for everyone. Must see - St Marks, Rialto bridge and just wonder around. If youbhave time take a trip to Murano island. Book your free slot for the roof terrace at Fondaco dei Tedeschi department store - stunning views! Enjoy

We want to rent a car when we leave Venice. Is it best to rent at the airport?
Not necessarily: Piazzale Roma is way closer to the hotel.

"Front rooms in the hotel have amazing views - tho these are most expensive!"
"Beware inter-connecting rooms and if you can live without a city view, the rooms a the back of the hotel are much quieter."
"ask for canal view; expect an up charge"
"Ideally would be to get a room with a view rather than of a brick-wall but no doubt will be at an extra cost."
"Ask for a room on a higher floor overlooking the Giudecca Canal. It may cost extra, but the room and view is worth it in my opinion."
$140 - $491 (Based on Average Rates for a Standard Room)
