As everyone else has said......a great hotel. Small and friendly. we booked last minute, through a deal and were expecting it to be a bit shabby but nothing could have been further from the truth.
The decor was modern and tasteful, yet you were definitely...More
We stayed here during Carnival. I think this a beautiful hotel. The room was excellent and spacious enough for the two of us. Breakfast was also very good. Matteo has a good sense of humor and helped us with any questions we had. The only...More
Hotel Vecellio was the best Hotel I stayed at in Italy. It was safe, clean, the service was great, the room was so gorgeous I felt like I was staying in a mansion, and the best part was waking up in the morning and having...More
We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2007. The location is fantastic, straight off a water bus (42/52) and into the Vecellio. Matteo was an excellent host, friendly, great sense of humor and an AC Milan fan! We had a double and triple and...More
This is a great little place, in an excellent location at the vaporetto stop & also 15mins from St Marks - a lovely interesting stroll through the less touristy areas of Venice. The rooms are very comfortable and well equiped. I'd have no problem recommending...More

Hi you can buy tickets for the bus at the airport, the bus will be right outside the terminal as the airport is so small. The bus takes you to the bus station and then you simply walk into venice itself. We got tickets for the bus from the plane staff, Ryan air. just buy a single and then when you get to the bus station to be dropped off there are signs with all the return to airport times, you just buy another ticket when you want to return. Hope this helps, and have a great time. Use the water buses too, much cheaper and loads of fun,
