The hotel was very easy to find with helpful staff, the room was lovely and clean, it was a very reasonable price. It was quiet at night for such a central location which was good. Would definitely stay again.

Small and fine hotel with moderate rates. Situated at the Riva degli Schiavoni only 5 Minutes walk from Piazza San Marco or from the Arsenale of Venice and the Biennale exhibition this hotel is really a great choice. The rooms are small but well equipped with stylish funiture and the bathroom is fine and clean. Every room is dedicated to... More

My Wife and I visited Venice for the 1st time and chose A Tribute to Music Hotel to stay at for 2 nights. I had researched the Hotel in advance on Tripadvisor. It had a great location, pretty good reviews with a great view and easy walking location to St Mark's Square and other sites. The water taxi we took... More

We stayed for four nights and could not have picked a more perfect hotel to stay. The hotel is only 5 mins away from St Marks Square and our room was at the front of the hotel looking straight out at San Giorgio Maggiore. The room has silk walks and marble floors. The room was very clean and had crisp... More

First thing to remember this is a residence not a hotel, they do not have a kitchen. You are opposite San Giorgio facing the lagoon and in front of the entrance to the grand canal. spectacular.♥️🇮🇹 San Marco square is a 5 min walk San Zacharia water bus stop is close but Arsenale has less bridges to cross if you... We wanted to stay in Venice itself but as anyone who browses hotels can see, this can be expensive. A tribute to music is a cheaper option with a great location near the San Zaccharia water bus stop just down the street from the bridge of sighs and St Mark's Square. The rooms are basic and after an initial bad... More

My husband and I had a pleasant stay at a Tribute to Music. The staff was extremely professional and polite. The only downside was the 15 euro breakfast option per person. I would recommend not doing breakfast at the hotel and going elsewhere where you can get more bang for your buck! The hotel is in a great area near... More

Staying in Castello

Neighborhood Profile
Castello
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighborhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.
