Having been a bit late in booking our Easter getaway, we booked this B&B without too much thought nor expectations. So we were completely blown away by the gorgeous courtyard, elegant room and fantastic location (once you have your bearings! Tip: keep Google maps on). Out hostess was wonderful, helpful and cheerful. We loved the special Venetian breakfast on Easter...

After wandering through the maze of narrow streets in a haze of jet lag, the beautiful green door of Corte 1321 was a welcomed sight. Slightly overwhelmed by the fact we had actually arrived in Italy, Corte was exactly what my daughter and I needed! Subhash welcomed us graciously and showed us to our beautiful room overlooking the garden courtyard....

What a phenomenal find! This 'bed & breakfast' (it felt like a family hotel, to be fair!) is a brisk 5 minutes, or a leisurely 10 minute walk from the Rialto, but my - it doesn't feel it. Hidden among smaller squares and quiet (VERY IMPORTANT!) alleys in San Polo, this place is an absolute MUST, if you're going to...

Corte 1321 is wonderfully quiet and voluptuous bed & breakfast ! Finding the hotel was made very easy by the clear indications of the gentle team at Corte. The rooms are simply superb, classy & sparkling clean. The view on the inside court is so romantic ...can't wait to see it in spring with all the flowers and plants hanging!...

We stayed in this beautiful apartment over New Year. Our host was so helpful & informative on our arrival - both about the apartment & tips about Venice itself. The apartment is in a wonderful location, within easy walking distance of all major attractions & close to some lovely local restaurants and shops (including a great little supermarket). The apartment...

Corte 1321 is a very charming, quite place that one may not expect in the middle of crowed Venice. It’s like a little fairytale miracle that makes you dream when you enter the lovely courtyard - and we where there in wintertime! How lovely must it be in summertime?! The location for us was amazing, very close to the Vaporetto...

Really enjoyed our recent trip to Venice and stay at Corte 1321. It is a lovely little place, very well located and very pretty. The room was excellently equipped with all we needed, the lady who looked after us was really friendly, and breakfast was magnificent. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed for two nights in October 2016 as part of a touring holiday (Rome and Florence included). Vanessa contacted us the day prior to arrival to ensure we were okay with transport and directions. On arrival we were welcomed with wine and lots of local information. We had room number two, which was very quiet at night and overlooked...

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
