In Dorsoduro, the modern art district of Venice, beside the Basilica della Madonna della Salute, is located Ca Maria Adele. At just one vaporetto stop from Piazza San Marco, in one of the most photographed views in the whole world and an exceptional location, the twelve rooms of Ca Maria Adele are dedicated to those who celebrate love. The exclusivity of the locale, the eclectic style of the decors, the exquisite atmosphere are all about the magic of empathy between Ca Maria Adele and Venice. An indissoluble bond, just like the emotion it is dedicated to. Renowned since 2014 as the most romantic boutique hotel in the world, Ca Maria Adele blends East and West, thus creating a style that speaks the language of romance.

We travel a lot. This is the single most memorable hotel I’ve stayed at. Eclectic, luxurious with an incredible location. The staff was discrete, anticipating our every need and exceedingly professional and cheerful. On our return to Venice from a week in Slovenia, we stayed at the St Regis, I can’t overstate the difference in hospitality between the two. Stay here if you can afford it.

Arriving at this wonderful hotel we felt immediately at home. Our luggage was discretely taken to our three different rooms, drinks and snacks were served in the well air conditioned lounge the moment we arrived and the checking in was easyily proceeded along the way. During our stay in August this year we always felt very welcome. Rooms and bathrooms are very well designed, breakfast is a dream beeing very friendly served including great fresh fruit and berries, a variety of eggs, bread, butter, jams and jelly, juices and whatever you desire in top quality. Best breakfast in Venice!
The two venetian owners assist you in any way you need, giving good advice for anything you might want to do in Venice. We will be back for sure next year!

This was our first trip abroad post UK lockdown. Having stayed at Ca Maria Adele many times before we can say with complete confidence this remains a place to venture to with certainty in our uncertain times. We stayed in Palazzetto 113 with the usual high standard of housekeeping and quality breakfast service every day. The reception team were still on hand to make restaurant and trip arrangements and everything went smoothly. Travel around Venice is safe, with masks being compulsory in shops and on vaporetti. Restaurants accommodate all the new regulations with the same Venetian hospitality. A trip which soothed our soul and restored our energies. Ca Maria Adele remains a wonderful, quiet, Venetian gem to retreat to, even more so right now.

From walking in the door to sadly leaving a few days later, we can’t recommend this hotel enough. Firstly the staff are so friendly, helpful and calming, there is always soft and calming music playing in the public areas which will ease any stress away. The staff are full attentive without being overbearing, have a drink on the terrace, lounge or even the deck, every part is exquisite and so romantic. The hotel is set on the side of a lovely canal with a side street. A vaporetto stop 2 minutes walk away. Our room overlooked the canal and the TV which was hidden behind a mirror showed a live picture of the Grande Canal with accompanying soft music. The room again was calming and perfectly furnished (I believe the owners were interior designers and it shows) When you return to your room after a day exploring you will find a turn down service and the exterior window shutters closed (this is nice in the mornings as the early sun shines onto the windows) Breakfast can be served in several locations and is chosen the night before (so many choices, all excellently served). Front desk staff can advise and book restaurants or travel, nothing seemed too much for them.
On our day of departure we sat in the lounge and had a drink while waiting (nice and cool as it was blistering outside). The owner came in and had a nice chat with us, it wasn’t forced and he didn’t rush himself, he really seemed interested in what we had to say, when our water taxi arrived the front desk came and advised us (again no rushing) and as we departed, the owner and some staff waved us off. Seriously I don’t see how any could find fault, of course you could nit pick but that would be rude as the whole experience was perfection, please treat yourselves *****

Without any doubts the best experience ever in a hotel. We stayed 4 nights in Ca Maria Adele in the mid of april, and everything was just perfect, since we arrived until, unfortunately, we needed to leave this magical place. We use to come to Venice at least 3 times a year for several events, and we did try many of the big hotels of the city: all quite disappointing to be honest. So when we see Ca Maria Adele we immediately decided to try it and was the best thing we ever did.

Ca Maria Adele is a small but sumptuous boutique hotel, with an eye for luxurious design details, steps away from one of the most iconic venetian church, Salute. Nestled in the Art district of the city, full of art galleries and amazing restaurant, 3 minutes from the Peggy Guggenheim collection and just in front of Punta della Dogana. We felt like in a movie for the whole our stay.

As soon as we arrived our luggage was taken away and replaced by a glass of delicious Prosecco, before we’ve even checked in. We did accomodate in a cozy and warm lounge room, drinking our wine and tasting superb typical cookies from the Veneto region while waiting for our room. We did choose the magnificient Sala Noire for our stay, which is one the five concept suites the hotel has apparently. Room was big, with sumptuous high windows, marble bathrooms and fluffy towels. We were so curious to explore the whole hotel as apparently there’s other beautiful rooms and also external rooms in a palace next to the main structure. Trust me, once you arrive there you’d like to check every single corner of this place….Murano chandeliers, baroque sofas, velvet and marble details perfectly assembled throw you back in the Golden Era of Venice.

We found the service absolutely impeccable and charming. Nothing seems a trouble for the staff, always willing to help when it comes for a restaurant reservation (thanks Alessio for the suggestion) or daytrip in one of the island (we went to Murano and the hotel staff arranged everything).

But our favorite moment was yet to come, and the morning of the first day took our breath away. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. First you can choose to have it in the hotel terrace, in your room or in one of the elegant lounges of the hotels. We did decide to have it in the room, in the comfort of our bed, while still in our bathrobe. The breakfast menu have dozens of enticing gastronomic options, salty and sweet from the a perfect poach egg (for me) or chocolate pancake (for my wife). Simple but wonderful snacks are available in the whole hotel and in the room the whole day.

The entire stay was just so lovely. The only disappointing was that we didn’t try the terrace, which has view of the rooftops and the Salute church, because when we decided to have breakfast there the weather was a bit rainy. But no worries, we definitely found our home in Venice and we can’t wait to go back again.

The hotel is in a perfect location, opposite the Santa Maria de la Salute church. From the second you arrive; (they organised a private water taxi transfer directly from the Airport to the door of the hotel, an experience not to be missed!) you are treated like royalty and nothing is too much trouble. We were immediately invited into the cosy lounge for a welcome drink of our choice, all beautifully served with a selection of snacks, whilst our luggage was whisked up to the room. The charming owner, Alessio, joined us for a most informative, yet friendly conversation. The room we had chosen (116) was the Doge’s concept suite, all very sumptuous indeed – just be aware it is VERY red in décor! The room had everything you could wish for; a separate wardrobe, dressing area on entering the suite, a very large and comfortable bed, views out of the window to the church (the bells do start quite early around 8am…) and a luxurious bathroom with a double spa bath, shower and a range of such lovely toiletries, which were replenished during our short stay of 3 nights. Our room was directly off the small, yet elegant breakfast room, where an amazing range of breakfast foods were served up until noon, a definite plus for us. The extensive menu is left on the bed during the evening, with fresh rose petals and you just fill it out for the following morning. On the 2nd morning, it was our Silver Wedding Anniversary and we not only had our wonderful breakfast with Prosecco and fresh strawberries, but a lovely cake as well! The staff are all amazing and really look after you with such care and attention you feel like long time guests after 1 night, they arrange trips, suggest excellent places to visit/eat – the list goes on!

Beautifully decorated and unique hotel with great front desk service. Marco was fantastic and accommodating. The service staff was friendly and nice. I didn't give this a 5-star because I am very disappointed in my Fireplace Concept room which was located on the 1st floor with a low ceiling and RIGHT NEXT to the kitchen. It was busy and loud. All other concept rooms were located in a separate wing with dim lighting, a high ceiling, and a private terrace. The owner apologized for not informing us about the terrace only after I questioned where this special stairway with velvet ropes is leading to? Evidently, the stairway led to Nirvana where all of the other beautiful Concept rooms were. Our room had so many problems - cranking air conditioner, TV and Bluetooth speaker didn't work although they were fixed the next day. Yes, we pre-selected our room based on pictures and not knowing the location. The Cream color Fireplace Concept room should not even be listed at the same price range or as their special room. I do not recommend this room to anyone. This was a special trip for us and I am thoroughly disappointed after I had done so much research I should have stayed at St Regis where the brand will always deliver. Ca Maria Adele is a very pretty boutique hotel with great service, just our room is not a romantic experience and beware of the mosquitos from this room since it faces a canal (not the Grand Canal). If you do stay, ask for the Concept Rooms up the stairs where Nirvana is. They are beautiful and romantic. By the time, we realized the difference, it was time to leave since it was a quick getaway. We are massively disappointed and unfortunately, we probably won't be going back again any time soon.

Eligance, Class, Romance , Location location location!!!!!!
From the moment you arrive you are taken care of! greated with a friendly genuine smile, luggage collected and taken to your room. The concierge takes you to the lounge were you are offered a glass of Perseco and a selection of nibbles, Why you relax from your breath taking travels from the Airport by speed boat to this romantic boutique hotel. The owners then entered the room and introduced themselves and made it crystal clear nothing was to much trouble, offered to arrange our evening meal at a local restaurant.......what did NOT disappoint......... and upgraded our room.
I can not recommend this hotel enough, the staff, the owners all genuinely want you to make the most of your stay and nothing is a choir. The area is full of little gems of restaurants and places to have a quite drink. We will definitely be returning Grazie mille to everyone at the Ca' Maria Adele

We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. Venice has many luxury hotels, we picked the Ca Maria Adele based on the reviews we'd read, for a luxury experience and also because we didn't want to be in a huge, sprawling, ostentatious environment.

We can honestly say this hotel, and the whole experience, was absolutely incredible. The concept room we booked was beautiful, the only room with a balcony that overlooks the canal, and the service was even better. The staff couldn't be more attentive and helpful. They bent over backwards to give us recommendations on local things to do and places to eat, to keep us safe (in these covid times) and to book venues and water taxis. On my wife's birthday they arranged for complimentary drinks and a cake to be sent to our room and even gave us a small gift as a memento of our stay when we departed. Perfect service, there when you need them and in the background when you just want to go about your business.

We're fortunate to have stayed in many beautiful hotels over our years, this is without a shadow of doubt one of the very best. If you're visiting Venice and want a truly outstanding experience then pick the Ca' Maria Adele - you won't be disappointed. We highly doubt there's a better overall experience on offer, also at this price point.

Our experience with the incredible staff of Ca Maria Adele began before we left for our trip. From the moment we booked our room we were delighted with the interaction and care we received from the staff. We were greeted upon arrival by the welcoming hospitality team at the hotel. After enjoying a refreshing glass of Prosecco we were shown to our room. We could not have been more delighted! The room was perfect for us. It overlooks the canal with a stunning view of the stunning basilica across the way. Each night we slept deeply and awoke refreshed due to the quiet and serene atmosphere, the wonderful bed and crisp linens and the knowledge that we were well cared for by the hotel. The mini bar is well stocked for your enjoyment. One of our favorite parts of the room is the ability to tune your wall TV to enjoy the camera of the canal nearby. It was fun during a thunderstorm to sit in our beautiful room at night and watch the canal and the boats pass by. In the morning you have an incredible array of options in which to enjoy your breakfast. We selected the breakfast room upstairs, you may if you prefer enjoy in your room or outside on the landing in front of the hotel. The breakfast order is taken the night before and there are an abundance of delicious options. The morning servers were friendly eager to provide a perfect experience. We commented each day how beautiful the hotel is inside and out and how lucky were to have found this amazing boutique hotel. Each morning we were greeted warmly, offered suggestions for the day and when we wanted to visit Murano we were graciously accommodated with a water taxi taking us privately to the island.
Upon our evening return a genuine greeting, and inquiries about our day. We felt like we were spending time with warm and caring friends instead of the usual stiff atmosphere of some hotels. When it was time to leave we had our bags loaded for us into the water taxi and were whisked to the airport with any issues. Our future plans will entail a return visit to Venice and we intend to book our trip around availability of Ca Maria Adele. Thank you Ca Maria Adele....There are not enough words to describe this magical place and we look forward to a return visit in the near future.

You can take a water taxi, which can be quite pricy, but will get you directly to the hotel, and the hotel can make arrangements for you. Or you can purchase a multi-day pass on the Vaparetto, which is very economical, but will take you much longer and possibly a transfer or two to arrive at the hotel.
