Had the most amazing stay. Particularly loved the attention to detail across staff / hotel. Wanted to say massive thank you to Marco who looked after us so very and very accommodating.absolute great location within walking distance to all main attraction. Will 100% recommend.
Without any doubts the best experience ever in a hotel. We stayed 4 nights in Ca Maria Adele in the mid of april, and everything was just perfect, since we arrived until, unfortunately, we needed to leave this magical place. We use to come to Venice at least 3 times a year for several events, and we did try many of the big hotels of the city: all quite disappointing to be honest. So when we see Ca Maria Adele we immediately decided to try it and was the best thing we ever did. Ca Maria Adele is a small but sumptuous boutique hotel, with an eye for luxurious design details, steps away from one of the most iconic venetian church, Salute. Nestled in the Art district of the city, full of art galleries and amazing restaurant, 3 minutes from the Peggy Guggenheim collection and just in front of Punta della Dogana. We felt like in a movie for the whole our stay. As soon as we arrived our luggage was taken away and replaced by a glass of delicious Prosecco, before we’ve even checked in. We did accomodate in a cozy and warm lounge room, drinking our wine and tasting superb typical cookies from the Veneto region while waiting for our room. We did choose the magnificient Sala Noire for our stay, which is one the five concept suites the hotel has apparently. Room was big, with sumptuous high windows, marble bathrooms and fluffy towels. We were so curious to explore the whole hotel as apparently there’s other beautiful rooms and also external rooms in a palace next to the main structure. Trust me, once you arrive there you’d like to check every single corner of this place….Murano chandeliers, baroque sofas, velvet and marble details perfectly assembled throw you back in the Golden Era of Venice. We found the service absolutely impeccable and charming. Nothing seems a trouble for the staff, always willing to help when it comes for a restaurant reservation (thanks Alessio for the suggestion) or daytrip in one of the island (we went to Murano and the hotel staff arranged everything). But our favorite moment was yet to come, and the morning of the first day took our breath away. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. First you can choose to have it in the hotel terrace, in your room or in one of the elegant lounges of the hotels. We did decide to have it in the room, in the comfort of our bed, while still in our bathrobe. The breakfast menu have dozens of enticing gastronomic options, salty and sweet from the a perfect poach egg (for me) or chocolate pancake (for my wife). Simple but wonderful snacks are available in the whole hotel and in the room the whole day. The entire stay was just so lovely. The only disappointing was that we didn’t try the terrace, which has view of the rooftops and the Salute church, because when we decided to have breakfast there the weather was a bit rainy. But no worries, we definitely found our home in Venice and we can’t wait to go back again.…
Ca Maria Adele is located just in front of LA SALUTE. Dorsoduro aera is a pleasant and quiet place to be. Ca Maria Adele is a confortable hotel. The team is very kind and helpful. We warmly recommend this hotel which is our favourite in Venice.
WOW ! We have just returned from Venice and a stay at this wonderful hotel, I don’t think my review will do it justice but I will attempt to try ! The room we stayed in was beautiful, located on the top floor with a private terrace. We found Venice a bit hectic but loved returning to the tranquility of the hotel after every exploration, location is fantastic, quiet area but really close to all the major tourist attractions. The hotel is small and we felt as if we were the only guests even though it was full, most amazing are the staff, nothing is too much trouble from reservations to help and advice and all with genuine friendliness it was truly the best part of our visit to Venice and I think that is saying something !!
Upon arrival, we were offered drinks while they processed our room, our bags taken up and our documents delivered back to us - the concierge service was excellently done, ensuring we had transportation, and reservations whenever needed. The attention to detail was unparalleled, and the room was superb. The location was a very short trip to St Marco Square for those wanting a wider choice of tourist activities and siteseeing. We’ll be back next year!
From walking in the door to sadly leaving a few days later, we can’t recommend this hotel enough. Firstly the staff are so friendly, helpful and calming, there is always soft and calming music playing in the public areas which will ease any stress away. The staff are full attentive without being overbearing, have a drink on the terrace, lounge or even the deck, every part is exquisite and so romantic. The hotel is set on the side of a lovely canal with a side street. A vaporetto stop 2 minutes walk away. Our room overlooked the canal and the TV which was hidden behind a mirror showed a live picture of the Grande Canal with accompanying soft music. The room again was calming and perfectly furnished (I believe the owners were interior designers and it shows) When you return to your room after a day exploring you will find a turn down service and the exterior window shutters closed (this is nice in the mornings as the early sun shines onto the windows) Breakfast can be served in several locations and is chosen the night before (so many choices, all excellently served). Front desk staff can advise and book restaurants or travel, nothing seemed too much for them. On our day of departure we sat in the lounge and had a drink while waiting (nice and cool as it was blistering outside). The owner came in and had a nice chat with us, it wasn’t forced and he didn’t rush himself, he really seemed interested in what we had to say, when our water taxi arrived the front desk came and advised us (again no rushing) and as we departed, the owner and some staff waved us off. Seriously I don’t see how any could find fault, of course you could nit pick but that would be rude as the whole experience was perfection, please treat yourselves *****…
We stayed here for 10 days at the end of May beginning or June. Beautiful hotel with lots of attention to detail. Breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly, particularly Fiore. Room was very quiet with plenty of space and a comfortable bed. Location is great, very quiet but just across the canal from Piazza San Marco. 5 minute walk from the museums at Dorosoduro. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thanks again to Fiore and team.
My wife and I visited CMA in mid-Feb to celebrate an anniversary. We gave a lot of thought to where we wanted to stay and settled on this hotel for a variety of reasons - location, excellent reputation and look & feel. We booked the Mini Palace, which is about 50 metres from the main hotel. The price, for Venice and the quality of accommodation, was very reasonable. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and very well-equipped. It also has a fantastic terrace that gives great views of Santa Maria della Salute and Giudecca. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. We were escorted to lounge and offered complimentary glasses of prosecco and some snacks while our luggage was taken to the room. The owners and all the staff clearly take a great pride in the hotel and nothing is too much trouble. You have the choice of breakfast in the main building or in your room. We opted for the latter and the challenge was what to leave out of our selection. Everything - from the croissants and pastries, through to the meats & cheese, and coffee - was first rate. Access to the main sites is relatively easy. You can board a vaporetto or traghetto (ignore the advice to remain standing for the short journey and sit if possible - a dip in the Grand Canal is not to be recommended) outside Santa Maria which will take you directly to St Mark's Square. Alternatively, the hotel is around a 10 minute walk from the Accademia bridge. The hotel's a stone's throw from the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and the Accademia Gallery not much further. There's quite a few bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity and there's a very pleasant walk along Zattere with views to Giudecca. All-in'-all, we loved this place and are already planning our next visit. One final comment: if funds allow, arrive by water taxi. The hotel has it's own jetty and this is a great way to experience the splendour of Venice.…
I cannot praise this hotel enough. Its location is superb, the accommodation is excellent and the service could not be bettered. The staff were without exception hugely attentive without being intrusive and any request was dealt with immediately. I'm almost reluctant to write too much in its favour in case its popularity prevents me from booking in the future. The breakfast is optional but do have it if only to experience the charming terrace on which it is served.
This hotel is a must. It is ideally located on the quieter side of the Grand Canal with the Salute water bus stop located just 2 minutes away. The rooms are sumptuous and the staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. It is unassuming yet full of all of the luxuries you would expect.
