Our friendly and charming home, Bed & Breakfast Corte Campana is located within a 480 year old Venetian palazzo and has been in the family since 1872. Just a 2 minute walk from San Marco Square in Venice, Italy. Within walking distance of Basilica San Marco, Doge's Palace, and main vaporetto stops. Our three pleasant rooms are large and can be configured for 2 - 5 guests for stays of 2 nights or more. Each room has its own non-shared Private Bathroom. The rooms are in 1700's antique style, quiet away from the noise of the street and have a nice view of a private venetian ‘corte’. We invite you to stay in our Venetian home, wake up to a Venetian Continental Breakfast, and easily explore the main sites a short distance away.

I stayed here for 3 nights in Venice and what a wonderful stay it was. The best part of this B&B is Ricardo and Grace themselves. Both of them are pleasure to interact with and will provide you with immaculate details on what to see and how to enjoy Venice (and not to mention where to get the best gelato).

The B&B is beautiful as well; the room is spacious and very comfy. It’s a 300+ year old building but luxurious inside. Incidentally this is Ricardo’s ancestral home as well.Nice breakfast is served every morning and the breakfast table conversations were very enjoyable too.

The location is also ideal to navigate through the old city of Venice. The vaporetto stops are within 7-8 min walking distance, San Marco plaza is a 5 min walk and so on.

I will very likely visit Venice again just to stay with Ricardo & Grace and enjoy their amazing hospitality!

In mid-October, 2022, my wife and I stayed at Corte Campana B&B for three nights. We were part of a large group (14 in total). Most of our fellow group members stayed at fancy hotels. Corte Campana felt like we were staying with family. Grace and Riccardo are the best hosts. They made us feel completely at home. Before we even got to Venice they gave us all kinds of advice for what to do and best ways to get into Venice. The B&B is very close to St. Mark’s Square. However, the B&B is located on a very quiet side street and was was very quiet. As it relates to the B&B our room was perfect. Bathroom was very nice and plenty of hot water. Their home has a nice communal living room for the morning breakfast. The breakfast coffee, pastries and yogurt were fantastic. Riccardo made sure I had plenty of my favorites each morning. The best part of staying here is getting all the guidance from Grace and Riccardo. Every restaurant, point of interest and Venice traveling tips they gave…we used. They knew some great out of the way restaurants that were very reasonable and fantastic food. Grace gave us the best spots to go for pics, gelato and where to go to get a less-touristy feel of the city. All of our friends who stayed at the fancy hotels paid a multiple of what we did and were given very little Venice insider guidance about what to do and where to go. Can’t rave enough about how special this little B&B is.

My husband and I stayed in the Fradei (Brothers) room which was spacious, had it's own bathroom, furnished with lovely antique furniture, mattresses were super comfortable and there was a lovely antique Murano glass chandelier. Breakfasts were delicious with robust, rich and nicely balanced coffee, tasty croissants and breads, jams, butter, fruits, yogurts, nutella, tea and juice. There were chocolates on our pillows when we arrived which was a nice touch. The best part about this beautiful B&B were Grace & Riccardo our gracious hosts. They made us feel very welcomed as if we were not just guest but family. They went out of their way to help us with direction, with our itineraries, recommendations and said we could reach out to them at any time with questions and if we got lost. Prior to our arrival Grace & Riccardo were very easy to communicate with. They sent us detailed instructions on how to get to their B&B along with other relevant and useful information regarding Venice. I highly recommend staying at Corte Campana. You will feel welcomed and will want to return. We look forward to staying there again!

We can’t say enough good things about the week we stayed at Bed & Breakfast Corte Campana. Ricardo and Grace were the most friendly hosts we have ever met. They went above and beyond to welcome us into their B&B, answer all our questions, and provide great recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and things to see, all shown on Grace’s amazing map of Venice. Breakfasts were a wonderful time to chat and get any questions answered. They even put a little Happy Birthday sign on our morning croissant after learning it would be our birthday!

The location is excellent – three minutes from San Marco, eight minutes from the Rialto Bridge. Our huge room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, plenty of closet space and hangers, a comfortable place to sit, and two big, beautiful windows. Even though we were so close to the center of Venice, at night our room was completely silent.

It truly was the quintessential bed & breakfast experience and if you are looking for a friendly, welcoming, and truly Venetian place to stay, Bed & Breakfast Corte Campana should be at the top of your list.

The location is ideal to go around the city of Venice. The ACTV stops are less then 10 min walking distance, San Marco plaza is a 5 min walk, Rialto bridge is 15 min and so on. The room was very comfortable, large and quite. Grace and Riccardo are exceptional hosts. They are so helpful, friendly and gave me great suggestions.
I highly recommend to stay at B&B Corte Campana.

Ricardo and Grace were excellent hosts who gave us lots of information on what to do in the area. The beds were very comfortable with extra blankets and pillows available. The room was spacious and we really enjoyed the antique decor. There are lots of guidebooks in the lobby. We enjoyed meeting other guests at breakfast. The coffee was delicious. The B & B is very centrally located and it's easy to get to many attractions from this location. Comfortable, centrally located, and a great value. A+!

This was our first time in Venice. Riccardo gave us great directions on how to find the B&B from the train station. It was in a great location on a quiet alley very close to San Marco Piazza. The B&B is on the 4th floor but there is an elevator. Riccardo spoke excellent English and gave us direction and maps to all the places we wanted to go and suggestions on restaurants attractions and stores.

It was very clean, and the room was large and very comfortable. There was lots of reading material and information on Venice available to us. Also umbrellas to borrow when it rained.

We had a fantastic weekend in Venice, thanks to our wonderful hosts.

Grazie

My friend and I stayed with Riccardo and Grace in early June and we couldn’t have been happier with our accommodations. Grace and Riccardo are both warm and charming. Each morning over breakfast they generously shared great hints for getting the most out of our visit to Venice including where to find the best views, how to navigate the vaporetto, and great suggestions for where to eat and drink, all noted in detail by Grace on a map. We stayed in the lovely Sorèa Room, the only thing about this room is that the washroom is down the hall, but it is private (for this room only) and we did not find this to be a problem at all. The breakfast is typical Italian, coffee, fresh buns, fruit and yogurt and we found it to be ample. There is an elevator, which we used to bring our suitcases up and down, but otherwise we found the stairs to not be an issue (and we’re both over 60!). The B&B is Riccardo’s family home and it’s fabulously located just minutes from St. Mark’s Square but it’s situated down a very quiet Calle. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Corte Campana to anyone, in fact I already have! I really didn’t want to leave and I look forward to returning one day!

This was our favorite place in Italy. The B&B was beautiful, and it is the host's (Riccardo's) family home. Our hosts, Riccardo and Grace, could not have been more helpful and charming. Grace created wonderful maps to help us navigate the city, and both Riccardo and Grace offered incredibly helpful information regarding the best places to visit and eat, many of which we would never have found in a guidebook. They were both incredibly charming, and made us feel at home. I would absolutely recommend staying here, and we can't wait to come back! We miss Grace and Riccardo and their beautiful home already.

Riccardo and Grace were really great hosts, gave recommendations for Restaurants, and they even invited us to a nice Gelateria on the Lido to watch a football match together. Unfortunately Italia won against Austria, but that's OK - we'll be coming back anyways ;)

The B&B is perfectly located, only a few minutes walk to San Marco and the Rialto bridge.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and there was a good variety of breakfast choices.

Thank you, Grace and Riccardo! We're looking forward to meeting you again on our next trip to Venice!
