The room was fine but they had put 1 double bed in it, we needed 2 singles. The hotel were happy to change the bed but be aware there was not any gap between them as the headboard is attached to the wall. In the bathroom the hairdryer fell apart in use and we were left another one. The breakfast was very good plenty of choice and not too busy. The location is perfect one direction St Marks Square and in the other the Rialto Bridge. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Fine location between Rialto and St Mark's square. Helpful, courteous staff. Large but rather shabby room. Had to close the shutters because of the noise of rubbish collection in the morning. Modest, just about adequate breakfast, certainly not 4*

A 5 minute walk from The Rialto boat stop, the hotel is clean, the reception very helpful, the breakfast is good. The room is large with a comfortable bed, a bed turn down during the week, a good bathroom, overall good value.

My wife and I stayed here early October and could not fault anything. Due to our flight being delayed for 3 hours we didn't arrive there until 1am. Nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend the hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful.

We enjoyed this hotel! The location is great - central, convenient to St Marks Square in one direction and Rialto Bridge in other. Easy arrival/departure by water taxi directly at hotel's dock. Very nice breakfast. Service was very good. Our Junior Suite Deluxe was nice size on 4th floor with view down to canal and across to domes of St Mark's Bascilica.

I emailed the hotel prior to my trip (3 nights) asking for suggestions, what to visit, guide vs guided tour, museums, etc. Daniel from the front office could not have been more gracious and more helpful. Every recommendations from the places not to miss, purchasing tickets in advance, the stores to go for masks, tipping and rates for water taxis, Murano complementary tour, the guide, happened to be right on point and made the visit perfect. Once there, the staff (minus Daniel on vacation) was as helpful, kind and highly professional; it is a real pleasure to be greeted by your name and without the need to give your room number (past the first day). Among the staff, Ugo deserves a special mention for making the excellent or necessary reservations (water taxi, restaurant) and always with a smile. The room (deluxe) was spacious with plenty of light and the bathroom was huge and very clean. The breakfast was top. The location is great for the quintessential visits of San Marco, Basilica, Doge Palace, the Rialto and everything else, less crowded, is in walking distance.

This ain't no palace, we were booked into a superior room and it was anything but superior. When you arrive the foyer and the corridors they look great and I would definitely say these parts live up to the 4 star rating, its when you enter the rooms it all goes wrong. The rooms are awful, we never even unpacked the case before heading back to the main desk to get moved. Housekeeping is poor at best, our first room was stain marked, had dirty walls and the shower was filthy. Our second room on another floor was slightly better but had stains all over the carpet and the marble slabs over the bath were hanging off making taking a shower a hazard, if these fell when you were in shower you would definitely break your legs. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast room also had dirty walls not nice when you sit down to eat. We were on our honeymoon and it did taint the last part of our holiday a little. We wouldn't stay here again it dirty, tired and in urgent need of room refurbishment. I have tried to upload photos however TripAdvisor site keeps giving error message.

A really nice hotel and from me gets the highest rating easily. The location to start with is just great. You are close to everything and within walking distance. The street just outside is full of shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is very fresh and clean. From the reception area and also the rooms. We stayed at the top floor, in a really beautiful room with a balcony! The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. From our room we had a view of St Mark's Campanile in the piazza San Marco. Below is a small canal but very popular for gondolas. Nice to look out from the balcony at the gondolieris below, some times singing and passing by. The breakfast was really nice. The staff were very helpful and nice, always with a smile. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back some day!

The staff was amazing. The hotel was perfectly situated between St Marks Plaza and Rialto Bridge. What an amazing city Venice is and the hotel staff, location and cleanliness made our stay that much more enjoyable.

I enjoyed our stay at this hotel because it was close to all the attractions and they have a special pick-up/drop-off spot for the water taxi, so that was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was hot and delicious. Our room was small but clean and very nicely decorated. The bathroom was newer and also very clean and bright because of the window. The rooms are not all the same in this hotel, as our friend's room was much bigger and quite different, but also very nice.
