Our first stay in Venice, this is a beautiful and spotless hotel. The view as you leave the building is stunning. Staff are attentive and very helpful, breakfast is efficient. Our superior room, although small, was very well presented with great amenities; mini bar, coffee machine, TV, waterfall shower. Room cleaned with fresh bedding daily. The bar was closed during our visit which was understandable to due to current global situation but who wants to spend all night in the hotel when you have Venice to explore? They have a private water taxi stop but the 'bus' boat stop is very close too. We would stay here again.
Having stayed at this hotel last year, and been so impressed, it was great to be back in a much quieter Venice, especially for the Regatta Storica. We'd specifically booked a junior suite overlooking the grand canal, which didn't disappoint with amazing view up to the Rialto, only possible down side the early morning noise from the Vaporetto stop outside but this didn't bother us and adds to the feeling of the "real" Venice. The front desk staff were as charming and helpful as before and we felt entirely safe throughout our stay, although the Covid compliance of a very small minority of some guests could be questioned. We did feel however that some of the Covid regulations seemed rather strange such as no bath robes provided automatically but happy to supply on request, why? And the breakfast staff seemed to be under pressure. OK the situation is different and is changing, they managed to set up a limited buffet service during our stay, but it is still no excuse for having to request things twice or things ordered not being delivered at all. But, overall, this is a lovely hotel, in a great location, ten minute walk from the Rialto or Accademia, provided you don't get lost, close to good bars and restaurants and right on the No 1 Vaporetto stop and the Alilaguna Orange line direct from the airport. All being well, we're be back.…
Thank you to the front desk team who did brilliantly in supporting check in with excellent communications, making us feel welcome last week and for arranging tickets for the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua that was well beyond what many hotels would do... the web ticket booking systems was beyond comprehension for us. Everything in the public areas was spotlessly clean, with COVID-19 related measures in place, we felt safe and well looked after, including the delicious breakfast each morning. The room was spotless too, with super quiet air conditioning and lots of hot water. We will be back...
We have been there for two nights recently, it is located just near by the boat station St. Angelo, very convenient to go every where - St. Marco piazza is within walking distance. The hotel room is clean and well organized, it has a lovely garden where guests could have breakfast - great service ! Recommended!
Hotel is spotless and the staff very friendly. The location is perfect for moving either on foot or with or boats. Breakfast is plentifully and the room at big and very beautiful. Recommended to spend a beautiful stay in Venice.
