Perfect stay in a fantastic location - 10 min walk from train station and less than 5 mins walk from the water shuttle stop to/from the airport. We were upgraded 2 room categories up to a canal view room which was a great way to start the day. The staff are so friendly and keen to help and the rooms are so comfy. Breakfast was great and covid-friendly served buffet style. The only niggle I would mention, but not major as we were only there for 2 nights, is that there wasn't much storage for clothes - there's a hanging rail but not much shelving.

We can’t thank Carnival Palace enough for their excellent service and warm hospitality. We booked a deluxe room the day before and due to availability the hotel upgraded our room as we were celebrating my birthday. It was a wonderful experience. The room was beautiful and immaculately clean. Breakfast was fabulous and included a variety of hot entrees as well as delicious cakes and pastries with includes gluten free options. There was even Prosecco and fresh orange juice available as well as delicious cappuccinos. The district is far enough away the touristy hub but close enough to walk or get the water bus which is right outside. There was some very interesting and good restaurants nearby as well as a supermarket and pharmacy. It was also convenient as our boat stop back to the mainland and car park was also right outside so no trailing bags through the streets which I’ve experienced before. We had a great stay and will definitely return and recommend to friends. 🙏

Hotel is well located... Not too far from the sights (albeit don't expect 5 mins) but in a quiet area with lots of good restaurants. Not far from the train station and also close to public transport stops. Rooms are stunning, large and well appointment. Thank you for the free upgrade-it made our anniversary extra special. Breakfast is also excellent with decent variety and a lovely setting outside. Staff are friendly and professional All covid requirements adhered to which is great. I will definately stay here again in future.

Carneval Palace is usually an excellent hotel with competent personnel in the reception.. BUT this time out my companion and I arrived for a one night birthday celebration.. They upgraded me from a simple room to a suite! Plus a bottle of prosecco on ice was waiting for us in the room! They even picked up the tax tab..I have no words..Maybe to make up for cancellations during the covid period? Anyway I thank carneval palace but most of all the sweet beautiful young lady in the reception who gave us the royal treatment..
