This was a last minute hotel due to an error we made booking a hostel but it was a great place to stay especially with its proximity to the railway station. The room was very clean and very secure as we had both a room...More

Good budget (for Venice) hotel in a great location very close to the railway station. Clean rooms and comfortable beds and pillows. Lots of shops and restaurants close by but still quiet enough to sleep well. Maurice on reception was a delight and booked us...More

Checked in 1st of July until 3rd of July 2017. You have to leave the key at reception every time you leave the building. Came back to the room after a day out in Venice- to find all our valuables moved in the room, documents...More

This is a small hotel on a busy street very close to the bus and train stations (so no long hauls of cases). However, room 16 was very quiet and, although basic, was clean, the bed comfortable and the room big enough for our stay....More

Rooms and hotel are clean, we didn't interact much with staff. You have to give your room key back every time you leave. We had to stay on top of our water taxi messages as they weren't overly informative. There are no elevators so you...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby

I agree with the previous posts - Venice is actually very quiet at night. If you get in by 11 pm just about everything is done and dusted anyhow. Hopefully you'll be tired out anyhow from having a wonderful time! Enjoy... More
