Stayed 4 nights B&B 12 - 16 Oct 2020, booked through JET2 City Breaks. Wow what a wonderful hotel. Although hotel is down a small narrow street with other hotels, very easily found from Water Bus from the airport. Very stylish, and fantastic welcome from the lady receptionist. Temperature check on arrival, hand sanitiser at reception, and at breakfast room. We had a cosy room booked, but upgraded for small charge to a larger room with balcony (just so we could play Juliet), well worth it. Remember there is always a room tax to pay on arrival. Could not have asked for a nicer room. Huge bed, beautiful bathroom, fluffy towels, with small toiletries, hairdryer, free safe, tea/coffee facilities (ask for small jug of milk to take up to room at breakfast), fridge (2 small bottles of water free on arrival) and a smart phone, for you to take out and use during your visit. Due to covid, you choose time of breakfast from 4 sittings, and choose what you would like per person and hand form to reception night before. Wonderful breakfast, plentiful, and a very polite and helpful waiter. Receptionists were so knowledgeable and spent time pointing out places on a map, train times, bus locations etc. Every question we asked, they could answer with a smile, I thank them for their patience, they were brilliant. Hotel location is a couple of minutes from the train station and about 8 minutes from the bus station, so ideally located. We walked over the big bridge from the hotel and followed the little winding streets to Rialto and St Marks Square. Got the hang of it eventually and only got lost a few times (thanks google maps), but that is the fun of it. I would say it would take around 25 minutes to walk there, taking a directish route. I would recommend eating near the Grand Canal (Ristorante Florida), or the little restaurants near there, perhaps on your way back to the hotel in the evening. There are quite a lot of small restaurants very close to hotel, but they were as expensive as eating near the main attractions, but without the wonderful view and better atmosphere. Would 100% stay at this hotel again. Thank you again all staff .…
My stay was a single night. The hotel is close to the main station and approx 20min walk to St Peters Sq. The staff are friendly and the room though small very modern and lovely. The breakfast is served due to COVID and not buffet style. I would stay here again
Very clean and polite staff. The room are cleaned and the staff from reception is very helpful with the information regarding visiting this beautiful city . Central position from where you can travel to Venice
I recently stayed for 2 nights at the Venice Times Hotel as from 24th Jan. 2020 to 26th Jan 2020. It is very close to the train station, definitely within 10-minutes walk. The room I stayed was very cozy and stylish. Also, the breakfast is various, especially the coffee is very tasty! As I got lost in San Marco, I was in a hurry getting back to the hotel to pick my luggage and then catching the train to Milano. When I ran out of breath and rushed to the hotel, the gentleman at the front desk who was very kind to help me carry my luggage outside the hotel gate. I really appreciate his kind help. Thank you so much! I love Venezsia which is a city without cars, even though I always got lost. I have to say it is fun getting lost in Venezsia. I will be back and will again stay at Venice Times Hotel!…
We recently stayed for 3 nights at The Venice Times Hotel in Venice and were extremely impressed! We had recently stayed in Paris at another hotel of supposed similar standard and I can assure you that this was far superior! All of the staff were friendly and attentive and always went out of their way to make conversation and offer help and suggestions on where to eat etc. We followed their meal suggestions on two evenings and each time they were great! The hotel itself is romantic and modern but in a cosy way. The room we booked was ‘standard’ but it was very roomy and stylish and the cleanliness was exceptional. We will definitely be back again soon Thank you
