We spent a week at the Venice Times Hotel in early October and we absolutely loved it. The staff here is really outstanding; everyone is friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautiful and immaculately clean. The location is very convenient. The included buffet breakfast is excellent. And they have a lovely patio area behind the hotel. We will definitely stay here again.

Just wanted to note that our stay was made special by the front desk clerk (Alberto). We believe our stay wouldn’t have been the same without his recommendations and guidance. We’d also just like to note the waiter (Gummi) who was also very polite and kind during our stay.

Hotel is just a short walk from the train station, water taxi, bus terminal. Great location, lots of places to eat with different choices. Close proximity to all the sights. Room was rather dark and dated but clean. Shower was really small and not much room to put any toiletries but we made do. Everyone was very nice, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was a nice selection, hotel staff really go out of their way to make it a great stay. Elevator is very very small and there are a few steps you have to pull your luggage up but we had a very pleasant stay.

This hotel is in a great location, right around the corner from the train station and water taxi, over a bridge from the transit station for taxis/bus, and walking distance to everything. The rooms are decent size, the bathrooms as noted are adequate (I brought in one of the bedside light tables for my stuff as there is no shelves), and a cool phone to use for maps, food, etc. Breakfast was lovely, had it out on in the courtyard and all the staff were helpful and pleasant. For the price, location, service, rooms, I consider this a great find!!

The location is really good as described in other reviews just a few minutes from the train station. The hotel is down a small alley which may take a bit of locating, so a phone map app is useful. You are only a short walk from the hotel back to Ferrovia where you will find all the local transport available, plus lots of eateries before you set off to explore Venice. As for the hotel, yes the staff are helpful, speak very good English, & offer lots of great advice about what to do & how to do it. The room is clean and modern, with very good AC . Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice of both hot and cold items, and a choice of lots of Italian coffees. We were in room 304, which they describe as “ A double cosy room”, which actually means incredibly small, there is no chairs in the room so sitting is on the bed, which incidentally there is just enough room for you to walk around, there is a distinct lack of sockets available, 1 infact, the only other socket is in the bathroom just a couple of inches above the sink. The tv has no English channels, but does have apps available, one being Netflix and if you have an account you can use, unless you are in rooms 104, 204, or 304, which we were, apparently the hotel was hit in a storm a month or so previous and had knocked out the apps in these rooms, we enquired if they could just swap out the to for one that worked, but that wasn’t available. The bathroom could best be described as a galley type, very small, so much so that at 6’ 1” if need to use the toilet your knees are against the wall opposite, the shower door doesn’t fit properly thus flooding the area, the shower tray is very slippery and doesn’t drain very well, as mentioned there is very little space, so to get dry you need to shuffle along the bathroom towards the bedroom to find enough space to bend over to dry yourself. There is tea and coffee making facility in the room, but very limited, enough for one cup per person per day, plus you have to drink it from a paper cup.

Venice Times Hotel get 5.0 for a great location, an attentive staff, a wonderful breakfast buffet, great technology including an electronic concierge, comfortable beds, clean rooms, and great vibes. When you exit from the front of the Saint Lucia Train Station, the hotel is located on a narrow alley that is two buildings away from the train station. About 100 meters down the alley, you will find the hotel entrance. There is no need to drag your bags over a bridge as with most other hotels in Venice. Venice Times Hotel has a quiet patio area in the rear where you can enjoy a drink from the hotel bar. We hope to return again to enjoy this five star rated hotel.

Location very convenient, 2 minutes from train station and 10 from bus parking walking. Very clean , modern interior with very helpful staff who speak English well. Rooms well appointed and decent size. Breakfast has good choice of quality options including gluten free. Lovely sitting area out back to relax. Note laneway to entry quite small and you could miss it, basically opposite bridge next to Cafe with green awning

Beautiful hotel and lovely rooms and facilities. All the staff were wonderful and a gorgeous courtyard to sit and relax and have a drink or coffee. Breakfast was plentiful and problems for myself being a coeliac (gluten-free) were non existent and was shown what to have etc. the complimentary Samsung phone to use whilst in Venice and able to give family a call back in Australia was a bonus.

We were literally blown away by this stunning hotel. Staff couldn’t be more helpful, room was incredible, and the location was perfect. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. They even provide you with a mobile phone in your room which you are able to take out and use to make calls and for the gps. Trust me - you will get lost on Venice. Even though we had a standard room it was huge (111). Bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud they were that lovely. Reception staff couldn’t do enough to help you, book water taxis, or book trips. We will be back at some point! It was perfect

What a fantastic hotel, so clean and well equipped. Great showers and bathroom facilities, comfy bed. Very knowledgable staff on reception that will help you with everything. Bar area and breakfast, lovely. And most importantly great location you can get the water bus anywhere from just down the road and getting to San Polo or San Marco is easy just cross the bridge and then follow the signs on the walls, make sure you walk across to these at least once so that you can find the restaurants off of the beaten track also to see the beautiful canals and houses all the way, thank you for having us it’s been so much fun
